If you are looking for a cheaper variant, the STR-DN1080 has some of the same ES audio components in a more retail-oriented package. Works fine with my 65E6. Also occasionally goes on sale for $399.

Its 2 diffrent exsperiences the Royole Moon is like having 4 65 tvs infront of You. 2 on top 2 on the side so its a much bigger movie feel.

Its has less pop pop out effect feel vs a E6/G6 as one has the Eyes closer to a Screen vs a tv so its no distance from the screens but Deept 3D is as good.
3D picture is as good looking take the 3D away as Lg passive 3D tvs.

One is more alone using it vs a tv when one sees part of the room so checking a phone surfing on a iPad is hard but one is more focused on the content.

Picture its 1080p oled Screen one pr eye so no Screen door effect. There no bands streaks checking with slides. Zero 3D cross talk.

It has a Black crush one cant adjust out of Blacks as a tv i was playing with a smaller Panasonic 3D bluray player with cms to digital adjust that to sum suksess but like more the oppo 103d with its darbee to sharpen up the 3D vs that one.

E6 can do 1080p per eyes?
Plus what do you think when it comes to 3D sharpness on VR set vs E6?

Black Banding

So finally catching up on the last season of Mr Robot. Watching DVR recordings through Plex on NVidia and seeing horrible black banding on the darker scenes. Seem to remember seeing this on the Comcast feed as well. Is this bad compression, or do I have something out of adjustment?

Not at home, so can't check, but I'm oretty sure you can find it in the About TV section, where you would see the Total On Hours.

another couple of questions that hopefully someone can answer for me. I am a new owner of 65" G6P

1. The tv seems to lean forward a bit. Is that normal? I have all 4 screws in the base, but it doesn't seem like a solid fit.

2. The set is showing 0 hours power on time. Is it possible to reset that value? I thought this was a display unit so surprised that it has 0 hours

1. Can only speak for myself, but I don't think that's normal. My set is straight up and pretty solidly in the base. If I rock it hard, the screen will wobble, but it still remains straight, with no lean.

2. To my knowledge, you can not reset the on hours. I've had my panel replaced and it still says the total number of hours from the previous panel. I see no way to reset it, not even in the service menu, and have seen no info related to how you would reset it. Not saying it isn't possible, just that I don't know of a way, and neither did the tech that replaced my panel.

The base on my 65E6 is just garbage, has been from the beginning. It adds zero stability to the panel. Can't say enough bad things about it. What I did was buy a heavy duty clamp-on desktop monitor mount, and attached the LG to it, stabilizing the entire setup and also trying to make sure it doesn't faceplant during an earthquake. So it sits on the crappy base, but is stabilized by the monitor mount.

I will have to see if something is obstructing the stand.

With regard to the hours the attached stand was pretty scuffed up and dusty so I just figured that it was a display unit

the 77 is slightly more floppy. But my god both ate a sheet of glass so yes it will wave a bit with either size. I have both the 65 g6 and 77 g6.

I meant that it would wobble at the connection of the base to the screen. The screen is very thin so I understand that it will have some flex. I have an 65" E6 for disclosure's sake.

Does your 65 G6 lean forward or is it pretty solid?
