If it's BI free and does 3D you should be able to get a pretty good price for it from 3D enthusiasts who would be willing to pick up I think. If you didn't care about 3D it's easier to consider upgrading of course as there's only better functionality & features in the newer TV's vs the older ones. Otherwise if you were keen on 3D you'd want to keep it or have a projector or another (smaller) TV as a backup.

3D is a very nice feature to have but only if it matters to you or how much 3D content you watch on it.
If it's just once a month or twice a month then it's better to keep it but if you haven't watched it since long time and 4K HDR attracts you more then better jump up to newer oleds.
Also you can keep your 77g6p just like Xsmax has installed e6p in his bedroom or can think of selling it. It's whole n sole your decision.

Was watching marco polo yesterday night and then started noticing vertical bandings. Do all E6 suffer vericle bandings?
Xsmax, you ever noticed on E6?

What types of scenes show this?

My panel is a "good one" and the only artifact mine has is the occasional right side vignetting on specific gray scenes. It’s pretty trivial and not bothersome really. Short of that, my E6 is damned good. However, I’ve read about the banding concerns.

On the E6 it shows on Marco polo on the horse ride part.
But again its use is the Odd 3D movie its good enought its more n less like most 2016s lill uneven on slides n 2/3 hard streaks on its right side but its has no bands.

The B6 had no 3D and Phillips first 55inch oled was no 3D on.
Loewe had 3D and Panasonic lovly first oled was 3D.

Ahh was the day of good oled build quality... no plastic.

3D motion sickness? Have seen good 3D content? there was loads of converted to 3D movies that looked horrible.

Why this time... again?
The fact is that "There is no such a thing like a perfect TV" so can have sony oled if E6's motion is hurting your eyes. Plus 3D movies we watch once or twice a week or even more but 2D content is for all the time. Plus most of the movie makers are already skipping on 3D bluray releasing so you know what i mean............

Lower input lag on games of less processing of the picture from the tv.

I think LG is leading when it comes to features, they offer more future proof hardware, just hoping 2020 oleds will offer better motion(as good as sony/Panasonic oleds). Sony oleds offer more clean noise free images than LG I guess.
