No, nothing on the E6 or C6 pages. Usually here updates have appeared on the E6 support pages for the C6, but never on the C6 page... nothing obvious in the menus etc has changed. HLG?

I think you have to change the Deep Color settings to "on".

Hi!

Can someone help me with the following:

1) What is the correct setting for PS4 Pro? I set the RGB Range to Full, it crushes blacks. I set the B6's setting to Black Level High and it seems to do the trick. However, BluRay Films and Netflix, on the other hand, shows this washed-out color. Seems like setting the PS4 Pro at Limited is the way to go. BTW, using Calibration with Darko's settings.

2) How's everyone's banding? I have one visible in the middle that shows on near black/near green scenes. Any setting that could potentially lessen it?

Thank you in advance!

Nevermind with #1 , I already saw the answers. I'm more curious with #2! It appears on both SDR and HDR content. Thank you all in advance.

Sorry I cant check ATMOS.

At least they gave us HLG Support which was one of the 2017 models selling points. Too greedy hoping for HDR YouTube as well, at this stage.

Now that's a nice surprise about HLG support.

Usually, manufacturers try to get you to buy a newer model by not providing it as a download to the first previous model. Frankly, that does have a negative effect on brand loyalty.

Have to say that if I had to replace my 65B6 today, I'd buy another LG OLED.

I wonder if there is a way to find out if this is a hardware issue that cannot be implemented via firmware? LG has been silent on that?

I would like to see HDR mapping as well as the DD+/Atmos implementation.
Of course I won't refuse better shadow detail, improved judder with 24p and an adjustment to ABL.

Denon X6300 H, 7.2 Infinity IL-40 Towers, Infinity IL-120 Subwoofer, Infinity Intermezzo 1.2s Subwoofer, Infinity IL 36 Center, LG OLED 65B6P, Oppo-203 UHD Player
I can turn it up to "11"

I just checked, no DD+.

I am not expecting any of these updates, I bought the TV with an understanding of what features it had. But I will be as happy as any of us if we do get some or all of the goodies included in the 7's.

The fact that this is a marquee set may help us get enhanced support for a couple years...or it may not.

I wish LG Will allow provide bitstream audio over hdmi arc channel , that will be perfect situation .

That is don't process any audio with in TV and provide external audio out

Are any of the US guys getting new FW through the TV? If so what is the version.

Can some of you other folks put what country you are in on your location field. User CP > Edit Details It will make this easier to know which regions are getting the updates.

Any purchased the 65 C6 and had it hidden in my work area for nearly a month while I concocted some kind of story for my wife. Any way happy I did and feel somewhat future proofed with this model.
I did the same thing!!

I actually bought THREE LG C6 OLEDS over the past couple of weeks. Love this tv. I drove to every Best Buy in the DFW area and bough the shelf displays. They are clearing the shelves to make room for the new C7, so I wanted to help then out!

The problem is that unless you are using them all now, they will be obsolete within 5 years! :-) Personally, I don't think TV's are a good thing to "stock up on" - the technology is just changing much too fast to keep them around solely for future use....

I saw this update was posted on the Korean website, but not the U.S. The E6 is still showing version 04.31.00 online.

Are you saying you're in the U.S. and 5.30.02 was pushed through the firmware update function of the TV? That would be unusual in a few ways:

1. An update hitting Korea and the US at the same time;
2. A new update immediately available through the TV; and
3. An update coming through the TV that isn't on the website.

What model TV do you have?

OLED55E6P (609 build)
Denon X2400H
KEF Q100 L/R/C, SVS SB12-NSD
XB1S, Roku Ultra

I just check lg website and 04.31.20 is the only recent version available for B6 in the U.S. Are you saying the tv is showing an update for 5.30.02? So over the survey update instead of USB? This would be different than part updates for sure.
