LG OLED ... what resolution?

I have an LG OLED B6 and would like to know if there is a way to know what resolution my TV is displaying at any time. Thanks

It's a 4K 16:9 display, and will always display exactly 3840 × 2160 pixels.
There is no way to show what the panel is receiving as the input signal.

Some components, players and AVR's can indicate incoming and outgoing video and audio information, unfortunately the LG OLED's do not.

I have a B6 too and found in one of the other threads about using the remote (roll the roller thingy) aim the cursor at the upper left corner and double click.

It'll display the incoming resolution off of the HDMI inputs. Not sure what it does with the built in apps.

Wow, that's cool...just tried it with my cable HDTV signal.
Does not work with Netflix or YouTube (built-in app) though

Hmm, wonder if there is a difference if Netflix (and others) are external rather than the internal apps.

If I use Netflix through my 4K BD player (Panasonic UB900) it works
downside is anything with Dolby Vision gets played as HDR though.

You can find this out through the app itself via "stats for nerds".

It will show the incoming resolution but not the Hz unfortunately. I use MadVR to see what is being sent though so not a huge issue.

Wow that's brilliant, I've spent ages trying to see if my VM box input on HD channels into my LG OLED was 1080p and couldn't see any way to get the input display up. This worked first time! Had to register to say thanks for this tip!
