Best Media Player settings for OLED? (Dune HD Solo Lite)
I put on a bluray remux of Aladdin (Diamond Edition) via my Dune HD Solo Lite Media Player, and the video on my E6P OLED was horrible, the juttering was so bad it was like a flip-book. The film looked much much worse than on my old Panasonic Viera plasma.
However there are SO many options on this media player that I don't know how to maximize my experience. So I just randomly changed options until I got a better picture, but it still was disappointing. I noticed the biggest improvement when I went from 4k 30hz to 1080p 59.9hz. No Idea why...
However, right after that I put on a Finding Dory remux and it was absolutely gorgeous and fluid...odd
Rather than try hours of more guesswork, can someone give me some tips about how to handle the various settings:
I can pick some of the lower resolutions, with the top three resolutions being 1080i, 1080p, 2160p...all the material on the media player is 1080p.
What should the Hz setting be? There's 23.9, 24, 25, 29 and 30 for 4k...then 23.9, 24, 50 and 59.9 for 1080p (similair) Right now I have the video mode at 1080p 59.94hz but this is just a guess.
Adaptive contrast enhancement (disabled), shadows enchantment (20), highlights enhancement (20)
All Except 24p
24p + NTSC
SOUND (Note, I have an Anthem 1120)
Now I know to put the digital audio output to original bitstream...however the rest I am a little confused:
Digital outputs sample rate
And then there are options for: Audio decoding mode, dynamic range control, volume control (best quality or overload), dts cd audio conversion
