And the 77" LG is currently showing at $14.999. If the Sony price is real, it will be hard to justify a $3,000 disparity. Very hard.

Anyone having purchased a 65" within the Best Buy return window may want to look into getting a refund on the current price..

So without reading through 484 pages what is motion like on Sony a1 compared to my e6? Are there still artifacts when adding judder in motion settings on a1? Is motion noticeably better with equivalent to lgs true motion off on the a1?
Thanks

I had an LG 65B7 for a few weeks and I simply could not get the motion working correctly. On my new Sony, motion is just not an issue.

I obsessed for weeks constantly adjusting TruMotion on the LG without success and since I have had my A1E I have watched many hours of content from different sources and haven't thought about motion once. Life is good.

A cam alone won't get you to 500rwhp....if you are doing heads/IM/headers then yeah you will get to close to that....

Got headers and other stuff done. New head work , intake and all that jazz coming with the cam install. Could live with what i got now. Love the NNP in a box with the remote. No plans to go F/I.

I saw John Wick Chapter 2 a total of 3 times in the theater.. My A1E showing this 4K disc is nothing less than definitive, another level from the theater.. LG OLED in no way can look like this without Dolby Vision..

This is what a 2017 TV should look like.

Too bad that you US folks only can compare to the LG because Panasonic's HDR10 performance is the best based on multiple sources. However the A1 is still the best TV overall

I was about 95% ready to take a flight and visit here http://www.cramptonandmoore.co.uk/pa...elevision.html

Then set up a FedEx freight to pick up to deliver..

Once I saw it though, I don't feel its enough to remove the W7's "wow" form factor and not enough to remove my satisfaction of the A1.. this set is great as a sole OLED TV choice.

easily a $12k proposition... more than 2 A1Es and 2 OPPO 203s to go with them.

Don't need to go through all that (travel to UK) to purchase a Panasonic OLED. Canadian dealer more then willing to sell and ship to you.

I didn't see any Canadian dealers with this TV for online ordering.. and the ones that do in the U.K., don't ship to USA.

HDR10 and motion where Panasonic can outperform the Sony but just a little bit so don't worry, the best TV is in your house

They can say what they will, we will see what happens on release day. Nothing is etched in stone on this planet until a product is released, they could cancel the TV without notice if they want all together. I have seen that happen so many times with a product that is supposed to come out. Either way Your interested in a XBR-77A1E go take a look at the XBR-75Z9D before you buy at half the price......

Totally get it. I'm just trying to point out that 18k is not what I'm hearing. So nobody knows. But the prices have been trending down not up.

I have an A1E and waiting for the 77. It's too beautiful to choose any other this year IMO

Hello everyone, specially to Al,

The first thank you for your help to all users. My Sony 65A1E arrives on Wednesday and I was a bit worried about the ABL. Why has Sony implemented the 2016 ABL? I'm talking about this:

I know you have a W7 and two A1's, could you make a picture of a hockey game or a documentary or snow scene to see the differences? Maybe with your options the difference is less clear.

Also I think we could send a message to Sony (or change.org) to see if they can implement the LG 2017 ABL.

Regards, and thank you very much.

One of his view options was "snow" so there is snow..

No other TV I have can compare to my A1E with my settings to look like that.. Anyone is free to place up their frame of that of their TV.. its a free world.

Last time I was in Magnolia with an A1E and C7 next to each other looking like those pictures, I adjusted the settings on the A1E and blew the C7 out the water with the content that was playing... and the sales guy that was speaking on it was set quiet very quickly...

My advantage is having a collection of high-end TVs, so I know what the top LG 2016 and 2017 TVs can do.. they, and nothing else I've ever seen touches what Sony's X1E in the A1 can do..

People reluctance to try it out doesn't hamper my entertainment
