Connected to 5ghz and speed is 75mbps. 4k on Netflix instantly. Strange it's not working on either set. Both have the latest firmware and Amazon app.

Just chiming in with the bandwidth conversation.

I have 60Mbs Up/ 20Mbs Down and I use a Ethernet over AV adapter which joins to a network Netgear switch. Works a treat.

I'm using ARC using a Denon X6400H receiver. I remember having some issues getting it working. I read that you have to enable HDMI-CEC (known as Simplink or HDMI control on various equipment) to get ARC working. After enabling them on both my TV and receiver, I ran setup on my receiver again and it worked. I haven't had any problems since.

It is in the categories in the main pane (not the menu pane on the left). And you do need to be careful with the Amazon app, for some reason they list both the 4k and non-4k versions of all shows separately and you need to pick the right one.

The thing with Amazon is that they have different listings of the different resolutions for their shows so you need to make sure you find and pick the listing with the resolution you want. Also, they have lots of 4k content but not all their 4k content is HDR. It's only HDR if the show description specifically states HDR. For some reason they don't make it easy.

After going back and forth between the larger 940e, I?m pulling the trigger on the B7
I?m going to move soon, and am not sure I will have direct seating In front of the lcd
I love my 9800 oled in my game room and it?s time to get a better tv in the living room
Plus, with the CC price match and great price at Cleveland plasma, it?s not that big of a financial investment, especially vs the 940e which would be twice as much
Should have it in a week

Amazon only has a very few items in DV. IIRC one of the seasons of Bosch was DV and I think a episode or so of another show, I forget which one. I'm sure someone else will remember and chime in. Net is that it appears, at least for now, that Amazon is focused on HDR and HDR10+ instead of DV. Netflix has lots of DV content.

That may be the problem. You may in fact be so close that the signal is too strong for the receiver.

That's interesting. We also have an outside antenna and a TiVo Roamio. When I first set up our 65C7, I thought about splitting the antenna feed with one directly into the TV, but I'm so addicted to the TiVo, I didn't see the point if I can't pause, RW and FFW.

A lot of you guys are seeing what i am seeing that i making using the in internal apps a challenge. The slow wi fi and center channel drop outs are getting to be a problem.

Here is what i am seeing and tried:

* High end Asus router right next to TV. Tried using the 5Ghz and 2Ghz bands. Initial speeds come in around at 100 to 175 mbps. Try it again later and the speeds drop down to between 2mbps to 8mbps. This is not acceptable for 4k HDR streaming.
* I have tried reboots, reloads of the TV OS, locking my router to a specific channel and the issue stays consistent.

Most likely you can either a) deal with it and it may not bother you b) hardwire into the TV c) Buy a AppleTV, Roku, Chromecast etc.

It bothers me as i see buffering and less than 4k quality. Add in to the fact that as we stream more, you will see this issue.

You can check your speed within the Netflix app (help -- check network) or use the LG web browser and goto to fast.com or speedtest.net.

Personally, I love the TV and i am going the Apple TV hardwire route. LG has supported this TV very well so they may fix this but its not guaranteed.
