The 10" is def WOW. I was able to move the 65"1-foot closer, so that helps with that some. On HDR, the high nit highlights are brighter on the 940E, but the OLED has more depth of image and tons of it's own type of pop.
I like the OLED because normal SDR content like day shots, maintain a depth of image that the LCD doesn't. The dimming zones don't offer as much an advantage in those bright day shots IMO, that the OLED does by having every pixel that can individually offer different levels of light and dark. Contrast ratio gives you that dimensional 3D look on 2D, and the OLED just has more.
Long story short, I prefer the OLED at 65", over the LCD at 75". Don't take that as the 940E is bad, it is by far the best LCD I have ever owned, and I watched HDR flicks in a dark room for months without complaint. The OLED just offers an image I prefer, and I think it is because I mostly always owned plasma. The 75" is more immersive.
IMO, the best tv you could buy would be a 77" A1E, to bad its 12k LOL... Chunon just went thru the same thing. We both went from 2016 LG OLED's to the 940E, to the A1E. I miss the size, no lie, but overall I prefer the SDR and HDR image of an OLED. My main complaints with the 2016 LG were near black and motion, and the A1E has no problems here.
