LG honors the 1 year factory warranty regardless if it comes from an authorized dealer or not. If the tv is NEW, you get a 1 year warranty.

I know of two recent cases where they didn't which is why I said it was a risk.

Oh ok. I have not heard of those situations. Whomever they are, they have a leg up on them, so hopefully they fight it. If it was bought in the US and is new, it comes with that 1 year warranty. Part of being an authorized seller means you agree to sell the product no lower than a certain price point, you advertise, etc.

I don't see how they can deny a new product.

After 3 years of ownership, my B6 got a bad case of station logo burn-in. I contacted LG support and after a few emails w/screen pictures, they had a LG tech person come out and replaced the complete panel v.4 under warranty. Who says Apple is the only one with great customer support? Thanks LG electronics.

Hi these are the pics of my lg c9 65 inch 5% grey test pic there is a dark spot on left corner in bottom.
the tv has been run for 95 hours now
It is not visible on normal content but after seeing the test pattern I can see it in some dark scene so I need help deciding whether to keep this or return my tv. I am afraid that the replacement might have worse banding what should I do?

For how many years does the included warranty cover burn-in?

Zero, technically. Sony and LG OLED warranties do not cover burn-in. Standard warranty for LG OLED is 12 months.

I would get it replaced. That would not be acceptable to me.

I have the LG OLED 65C9ML and I noticed at the middle part of the screen near to the base of it its a bit warmish at times due to box fitted on the rear of it. Can this present a future issue with the electronics as well as other flat screens with this type of OLD design or other? My previous 4k Techwood 49" wasn't as warm as the OLED.
