When in doubt, click on "Restart" in the Settings menu (i.e., reboot the display).
When I first got the A9G, the internal Chromecast app didn't work. I rebooted, and then it worked perfectly.
After the recent firmware upgrade, the internal Netflix app didn't work (I just saw a blank screen). For the 2nd time I rebooted the display, and voila, Netflix worked fine.
Note I am not talking about a factory reset (which would delete all your settings), but rather "Restart" which reboots the display (just like an Android phone) but keeps all your settings.
