What to buy after an LG OLED? (cheaper option)

I have a 2018 LG 65inch LG OLED that has somewhat spoiled me to other potential TV options.
The above model is in my Living Room and I now need a second set for the bedroom.

The problem is, I, unfortunately, cannot afford another OLED.

That being said and with a budget of about $1K (50 inch and up), what would you recommend as the next best thing in my price range?

Thanks in advance.

If you were located outside NA, i would suggest a toshiba or hisense oled, they are the budget oleds based upon price (less than 1000 usd for the 55"). If you're in america, then you dont have those budget oled options, you could try looking at a vizio P series or the tcl 6 series lcd's.
I would not suggest a used plasma like the above guy, a good number of plasma's that are being offered used have some form of burn in on them, which you might not notice until you bring it to your home and start playing content with different colored backgrounds. The plasma owners who have 'perfect' looking plasmas are not parting with them and putting them up for sale.

Thank me later, get a Hisense 55” or 65” H9F it has Quantum Dots, 132 Dimming Zones, and a true 120Hz Panel. For less than your $1K budget and on Black Friday even less.

It’s not dual layer those will be out next year. H9F on paper is impressive it’s cost is fair. And various retailers have the 65” model Available.

Looks like someone posted a video, I only say this as the best compliment but it’s OLED good.

This is such a hard question IMO. Now that I have an LG OLED set in my primary HT location, I notice every deficiency in my other set in my second HT location, a Samsung 4K set. The usages are a bit different, location 1 is primarily a dark room, and I also use it for gaming, while location 2 is a much brighter room, and no gaming.

I'd love to have another OLED there, maybe if I can a 55" OLED for a great price at some point... I've also been looking at the Samsung Q80R, as it checks most boxes, and its bright room performance is supposedly very good, but price wise it doesn't offer advantage if any over say a LG 55" C8.

HT1: LG OLED65C9 -- Denon AVR-X3500H -- Ascend Acoustics CMT-340 SE's Front & Center -- Ascend Acoustics CBM-170 SE's Rear -- Hsu VTF-3 MK4 -- Xbox One X -- Apple TV 4K -- Playstation 4 -- LG UBK90 -- Harmony Smart Control Remote & Hub -- Aircom T8
HT2: Samsung UN55JS700DF -- Denon AVR-X3500H -- SVS SB-01 5.0 speakers -- SVS PB12 NSD/V -- Apple TV 4K -- LG UBK90 -- Harmony Smart Control Remote & Hub -- Aircom T8
