TV Recommendation Sony A9G 65" or LG E9 65"

So I like both Sony A9G and LG E9 TVs but not sure which to get I currently have the Sony Z9D. And buying a different TV. I mostly watch 4k and 1080p movies (no cable at all) I also sometimes play games on my tv when I connect my PC hdmi to the tv so i can play with a better sound system but i have a monitor i mostly play on. So what do you guys think?

Sony A9G or LG E9?

Details and and reasons if possible on which tv to pick 😀

There are already several threads with the same question, and you already asked in the A9G thread (I didn't look whether you did in the C9 thread as well). They both have their strengths and weaknesses. IMO, the C9 is the better gaming display, and the A9G has a tad better upscaling (especially with poorer quality material) and motion handling. The A9G won the US shoot-out, and the C9 won the EU shoot-out, which tells me they are quite close. I went A9G since most of my viewing is SDR, not 4k. But you can't go wrong with either.

There does not seem to be any significant PQ difference between C9 and the E9 OR the A9G and A8G - mostly cosmetic.

If a serious gamer would lean towards the C9/E9, if not and as you watch a lot of movies would go with A8G/A9G...

And the C is right now probably cheaper. Check out the current sale at Costco.com, hard to beat when this company gives you up to 3 months return if you are not satisfied!

For your case I’d go C9. Double check the owners thread first before buying from Costco as apparently there is a certain feature you lose on the tv if you buy it from Costco.
