Thanks for following up here Erich. You've confirmed I'll be fine doing what I was concluding would be best: trimming the baffle down to 14" square. No worries.

I knew I was working outside the normal guidelines by building my own variation of the cabinets, so I didn't expect it be entirely plug-and-play. Having a recessed driver cutout is the biggest advantage of the kit - thanks!

Considering 6 to 8 of these for Atmos Top en Side speakers. Volt 6 and Volt 8 seem very alike spec wise. We are sitting rather close, but I want to be sure these go effortlessly down to 80 Hz.

Should I go for Volt 10 (sealed) instead?
