I am also too new to send a pm, MTG90 could you pm me about shipping info and pricing for complete 88 special crossovers? I am taking delivery on 3 this Friday and would like to see my options, you diy guys are seriously amazing!
In that the 1099 and 1299 are similar in terms of # of drivers etc, will a different board design be needed? I know the components are different, but are they different enough to need a new board (or is it too soon to say)?
If so, do you have any idea when you will have 1299 boards available?
MTG90 hasn't even seen th XO details. In fact, final component brands/types haven't even been selected to be able to design a board. I'm working with Erich on that currently. So 1299 boards will be a little while yet.
I'm interested in XO assembly for three 1099's but currently unable to PM due to not having the requisite post count. When you have a chance, can you please contact me with the pertinent info (shipping, payment, etc.).
Does anyone have Matt's contact info? I sent him my 1099 XO stuff a couple of weeks ago, and he mentioned he would get to it within a few days, but I haven't heard from him, nor have I been able to get a response via PM. Just want to make sure he is OK. Please send me a PM if you have his phone number or something.
CNC machines don't miss holes. Seems odd if a hole is missing.
It was definitely missed on the three boards. I posted a pick of one of the boards in my post and it's not there. I just drilled it out and they came out fine. Have to say for my first time putting the crossovers together they came out great.
Sorry about that. The holes are all drilled manually on my drill press using a template and occasionally I will miss a hole on a batch (usually 6 boards stacked at a time). I do a light check at the end to make sure all of them are drilled out but even so it is not hard to miss one.
