Fusion quad 4 center with pure 10?

I'm playing around with a few options for a new room layout and that includes deciding on speakers between a couple sets (have 3 pure-10s, 3 reaction cx-10 and 2 fusion-8).

The new setup would benefit from a narrow and/or shallow center channel.

If I kept the cx-10 I'd likely consider building a shallow/wide cabinet but most likely it makes sense to keep the pure-10 because the $/quality difference is so close.

That leads to my question... How well or poorly will the q4 pair with f10 fronts?

The quad 4 really interests me. Erich regularly suggests the larger speakers (though he never said the q4 was bad by any means) but the reviews of the q4 rave about its clarity and detail... Hmmm
