Overnight Sensations MIA?

They're little, they're cute, and I need a couple for a graduation gift.

Is there an ETA when the Overnight Sensations will be back in stock?

I probably have some but didn't realize the site was listing them as out of stock. I'll check today. PE was out of the woofers for a while, maybe they got them in.

Haha! Thanks, Scrappy.

It's for a cute little foster daughter who I hope will take them to college and think of me when she plays her music, which she loves.

Do you think those 1899's will fit on her computer desk?

Erich: Thanks Erich, I'll take those OS if you have them in stock. Just leave a note on this thread or shoot me a PM and I'll make the arrangements to formally order and pay for them. My email is wvu80 at M S N dot com.

This will be my third DIYSoundgroup purchase. Scrappy, thanks to some of your PM's to me about the sound quality you've got me real interested in that Fusion 8 Alchemy center! I've just picked up a real-live soldering station so now I need a new project to justify its existence!

If you're going to paint them black I probably have some B-stock cabinets that will work good and you can have them for free. B-stock on those is when there's a patch on the front somewhere that I don't like. I know I have crossover parts, but let me check my woofer count. The packaging on some of the woofers I got last time had dinged corners, so I usually return them to PE when I go up there. I'm not 100% sure how many of those I have versus the rest of them.

Thank you Erich, the B-stock would be fine but I don't mind paying for them. I am already in your data base as a customer, so if you'll just tell me how much to send you and we can start the process. You already have my address.

To Erich, re: foster children: Your offer to send me a less-than-perfect cab at no charge is appreciated, but not necessary. Let me tell you why, and this may have some interest for others.

I am not a perfect dad, and I was not a perfect foster dad. I made mistakes. My foster daughter was not perfect either, she had some imperfections. What we learned to do was love each other despite our imperfections, and accept who we were. A cabinet with an imperfection is symbolic of that, it gives the cabinet some character not because it is perfect, but because it is not.

I checked PE and this Viva HiVi B4N 4" Aluminum Midbass Round Frame is out of stock, $14.91:
There is a message on PE that says this will be available in two days on 4/27/16. Should I just be patient?
http://www.parts-express.com/hivi-b4...frame--297-429

Could I buy another driver Viva HiVi M4N 4" Aluminum/Magnesium Midbass direct from PE for $12.97 that would work?

The advertising fluff says "Similar sound as the B4N used in the popular Overnight Sensations bookshelf speakers"

http://www.parts-express.com/hivi-m4...dbass--297-434

Feel free to advise me. -Dave
