Where'd you see that, Joe? I guess I had better take a look at the wife's xl4.

I had already read that. I see nothing there that says TiVo has officially said that 4 tuner Premieres have skip mode. The only thing I read is that SOME Premieres have gotten it and others haven't. I have not gotten it on my 4 tuner XL4.

I have NOT gotten it yet on my 4 tuner XL4.

I did get a software update and I hate the new menus or how
they have been collapsed and changed. I don't call that an
improvement.

I just received an email from TiVo this morning saying that my Premiere's (2-tuner Premier XL's) now have Skip mode enabled. I haven't tried it yet. Has anyone else seen this?

To anyone interested in a Google Chromebox or Chromebook..
Be aware that these boxes run a variant of Linux and DO NOT support HDCP!!!
This means no support for HD on most streaming services. I wish I would have known this beforehand....

After you receive RC42, the box will be able to have SM once it's enabled. The 746 models probably won't get it until Tuesday. The other models receive it today.

But we’ve had skip mode for several years? Maybe no icon on a show to indicate it has it or not.

What’s the deal?
