Question Need an OTA DVR that'll stream to Roku

Hello all, I hope everyone is having a pleasant holiday.

I am trying to solve a problem with sports on my OTA setup

My Current Setup
Plex Running on a PC - Intel i7 [email protected] 4.2Ghz - 16gb Mem, 10TB of Storage
Streaming to: 4 Roku's
4 TV's setup with an OTA antenna mounted on the roof - I get about 45 Channels
SABNZBD/Sickbeard/Couchpotato (Newsreader, TV Series Downloader, Movie Downloader - respectively)

The setup works great for movies and music and recording TV shows but falls short with sports. I had the antenna installed to watch college football. The biggest issue is that I cannot pause live TV, nor can I record and watch later.

I am looking for a solution that will allow me to record live sports and play it back through plex (ideally) or just somehow through other Roku channels. The pausing live TV is not a huge issue, I can always just watch the recorded show and pause it.

I am having difficulty finding some sort of PC tuner card that can record and then playback on roku.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Well you don't mention which tuners nor dvr software you have. You probably need to provide more details for us to help you.

Please be specific with your questions. Generic "help me" topic titles don't attract many views. See my edit.

You might also consider visiting our HTPC area. HDTV Recorders deals mostly with self-contained appliances. You're wanting a solution that records OTA but streams outbound to a Roku. An HTPC or adding ATSC tuners to your existing PC might be an option. Here's a thread that might help if you go that direction.

Bye the way, I do not currently have a tuner or DVR software. That is exactly the problem I am trying to solve for.

The tablo looks interesting. I typically get burned at being an early adopter. I tend to underestimate the time I have to work on tweaking stuff and keeping it running as I get very busy.

Have you given any thought to simply buying an OTA DVR.

There is also a tablo plex channel that from what I understand, incorporates everything you want.
