New product update(3-7)

Hi all,

Still working diligently to expedite things but it is a process prone to "hurry up and then wait". Details.

* 12 inch sealed subwoofer is done minus some minor details I can address "on the fly".

* The new MT110s, MT110, and MTM210 have are done minus minor details I can address "on the fly".

Costing for all of the above is finished including all shipping logistics, tariffs, etc.

* The latest TV1812 proto-type is measuring very well and could be a "keeper" but I won't know for another few days. v3 and v4 are already drawn up so we'll see.

FR for the 12 inch sealed. I'm still working on the optimal shaping <30hz but this should be close. Above 30---+/- 0.3(?) without smoothing. Not too shabby for a little budget oriented woof.

TV1812. Might be close, might need a couple more tweaks. Don't pay attention to the front baffle layout. It is squeezed tight so I can add a second port if torture testing dictates the need.

Thank you for the update.

Can you share the final price yet on the MT110/MT110c? Also, do you have a “roughly right” ETA on preorders and/or shipping of actual units?

Doesn’t hurt to ask...

Can you provide the dimensions of the TV1812? Will be tuned @17Hz?

this one is 20(w), 24(d) and 32(h). Tune is between 11-12hz.

All of this is subject to change as design evolves. But it won't be any higher than 14hz.

The plan right now is.

Pre-order discount.(and this will likely be for a fairly limited time as this pricing isn't sustainable long term)

MT110 and MT110surround ~ $475
MTM210 ~ $600

Sealed 12 inch sub ~ $500

TV1812 ~ $1400
TV18ipal ~ TBD

No discounts or "bundle" pricing for any of the above. Those are rock bottom.

I'm planning on "official" pre orders for all of the above except the TV1812 to start in about 6 weeks. But if this goes like the TV36 subs did(and the TV42) I'll end up with a ton of orders before we even put up the link(s) on the website. Not complaining of course. I'm not sure about the TV1812/TV18ipal yet. Sometimes things seem "just about done" and then it takes a lot longer than anticipated to get it optimized.

Hello Tom, my apologies would you be able to direct me to where I can look up more information about the new speakers ? what's different compared to your current offering ?

thanks for the clarifications and my apologies if this has been discussed already.

The cabinet and finish are made in China. With assembly of components in Ohio - same components and performance as existing line.

Hopefully the dimensions change a little my height limit is 30", a little more depth or width would be fine though. My height limitation has been what kept me from buying a couple of FV18's.

When I saw the cabinet dimensions and projected low end frequency limits this morning I immediately thought of the FV18 and how it compares in both respects. Increased cabinet volume (properly designed/executed) should lend itself to an enclosure playing at the lower frequencies, around 14Hz in the case of the TV18 in development.

Let’s see how things look after it’s tweaked, but I’d seriously consider trading my V1811s for a pair of the TV18s. I’d have to turn the front sub on its side, but the rear sub could stand upright. No deal breakers here.

Hi all,

New info(3-19)

Per the TV1812/TV1512 stuff.

Here's the current "plan". And please note, "plan". So don't get riled up if this changes in the upcoming weeks. There's obviously unusual circumstances beyond our control and well beyond the importance of a new product launch happening all around us.

* Initially there will be one version of the TV1512 and TV1812. Both having cabinets made/sprayed here in Ohio.
* Both of the above will have tuning points between 12.5hz and 14hz. I've been going back and forth with this for weeks now trying to find the optimal balance.
* Eventually(hopefully sooner rather than later) we will offer both of the above with a customer OPTION for china made cabinets.
* There will be a TV18ipal option although I'm not sure if that's going to be with the 960w ICE platform or something more powerful. That's going to take me a few more weeks to figure out as I'm working on several new possible options.

ESTIMATED costing.

* TV1812 with OHIO made cabinets. $1899 pre order 1699. Shipping in roughly 4-6 weeks. Cabinet size will LIKELY be 32 tall, 25.5 deep, 20.5 wide.
* TV1512 with OHIO made cabinets. $1399 pre order 1299. Shipping in roughly 4-6 weeks. Cabinet size will stay the same as the V1512( 25 tall, 24 deep, 17 wide)

* TV1812 with CHINA cabinets. $1599. pre order $1449. Shipping TBD(these will be roughly 16-20 weeks out).

* TV1512 with CHINA cabinets. Still too early to gauge pricing and any ship date.
