I oinked "Little Dead Rotting Hood" on Netflix after about 10 minutes. Must have been made for Syfy. They did add the second season of "Salem" for those of us who took snips to the cable. I might pop for "Southbound" streaming as it looks fun. Wonder if the commentary track is available on VUDU?

Don't know about you guys, but it was amazingly liberating to disconnect all of my old wires/cables/plug-ins/etc and start from scratch with a plan of attack. I can't tell you how long I've wanted to do this.

Anyway, here's a couple of shots. Speaker cables/XLR cables are not connected yet so no impressions yet on how everything sounds. My second Outlaw amp for height speakers is coming on Monday...along with a stackable shelf for the amp stand and another train car full of cables. Anyway, I promise to limit this to maybe one last post when I get everything setup.
Post away, we're a supportive group and we seem to be one of last fun places on AVS. And remember we have "The Horned One" to keep the trolls away (Unless they are in a movie then they are talent, vs being pit tenders)
So when you have everything up and running again, what movie are you going to use to re-christen your system, and of course music is good too.

Watched 10 Cloverfield Lane last Thursday in the theater. Thought it was alright. Both my mom and brother (who watched it with me) thought the ending wasn't up to par with the rest of the movie. However, from me, I don't think the movie deserves a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. That might be a little to lenient or kind.

Still worth a watch though!

Just because I have The Hateful Eight sitting in the wrapper, that'll probably be the christening flick. I'll be having two of em though. One for when my separates are up and running and another christening with my Outlaw 5000/height speakers in the mix. Not sure when that will be or what flick I'll be choosing. I think the only Atmos movie I have is Mad Max, so I'm leaning toward that right now. My 5000 amp and corresponding shelf actually just arrived about an hour ago (3 days early) but the shelf they sent was the wrong finish . So its gotta go back.

With regard to music, I have absolutely no idea. I have way too much of it to even try to decide. Maybe I'll just hit random and see what happens.

Thankfully we have alcohol to make things better!

I was a lefty first baseman back in the day so my gloves always cost a little more.

Watched "Southbound" last night on VUDU. Should actually be called "EastBound" because that stretch of road between San Bernardino and Bakersfield goes east/west. Good flic though and about time to have something really creative and good after suffering some false starts on Netflix offerings. Four and a half earbuds.

The other funny thing is I write with my right hand lol!

I was an average little leaguer and liked playing baseball when I was young but as I got older, my heart wasn't in it anymore. I played off/on till my sophomore year in HS, then hung it up for skateboarding and surfing. Now I always loved watching my Dodgers or other pro MLB games live or on tv. The other horrifying thing when I was playing sports in HS was that my Dad's old coach was still coaching at his HS and I end up going to the same school!

A few years ago I was at a track day at Fontana and they had Karts running at this little track off of the side of the infield track. Those things were wicked and I got to talk to a dad that had two boys (and two Karts) on how much it cost to get into that. It basically made my track day in my Z look really cheap!

Finally got moved and somewhat operational. 48 hours of Cable DVR and it is straight bull shirt. Legit pain while using. We'll probably return it this week and just eat any data cap charges. It's that bad.

I'm thinking we'll keep our PlayStation Vue, Roku setups.

I was just looking to drop Dtv and give Comcast a try. Internet and tv for less than half of what I'm paying for sat. I haven't used cable in 20 years.

My last go with D* was about 4 years ago and we liked the DVR a lot. This Motorola one is horrible. We signed up for cable TV to offset our data use but no one has used the cable since it got turned on.

I don't use cable or sat TV, but recently got xfinity internet for 14.99 a month (300gig cap). Not super blazing speed, but I don't stream many movies anyway.

Also purchased my own modem, vs leasing theirs. Might look into getting a bump in speed later.

I read where my U-Verse cap will be 600 GB when they actually start enforcing it in May and usage will actually be available. But by my figures even as much as I stream I'm still under 300 GB a month. Now if Wave comes down the street I might get their 110 Mbps for the same price and it has a 1 TB cap. I have U-Verse 12 Mbps, no TV but their VoIP.

Watched "i-Lived" last night on Hulu (might be an EPIX title) and it was not bad for a low budget horror/dark comedy film. Three and a half phone apps.

I fit in two creature features yesterday, Aliens and Predator 2. I realized while watching Predator 2 on Starz the importance of showing movies in OAR. During the scene where the Predator is cleaning King Willie's skull and placing it with the other trophies, you don't get to see the Alien skull because of the zoom to fit ratio.

I have Comcast with no data caps, yet. Although my internet speed fluctuates too much for me to exceed those caps.

I caught Freddy vs Jason on Syfy. I've got nothing more on that. I hate to dump D because I've had them forever and Comcast just rubs me the wrong way. Every month I have to check and make sure they aren't charging me for the modem I own. I would dump them but there really isn't an alternative.
