I like them. Many of the challenges posted here are from films that I have seen but I didn't recognize the pictures.

Exotica is pretty good. The Sweet Hereafter is his masterpiece. After that, you can stop looking at Egoyan. The rest is all downhill.

The following screenshots were all taken in sequence from then opening of ONE SINGLE MOVIE. I don't want the names of the movies in the screenshots, I want the name of the experimental film that these screenshots came from. Research is allowed from the start. Good luck.

In a less cruel game you would get partial points for spotting Joan Fontaine in a different Hitchcock picture of the year before...

Correct! The reason I posted this, though, was in memoriam to Marni Nixon who passed away Sunday and did Miss Kerr's singing, as she did Natalie Wood's in "West Side Story" and Audrey Hepburn's in "My Fair Lady." My wife and I happened to watch The King and I a week before she passed away and commented then on what a wonderful voice she had and how almost no one really knew who she was.

The first pic was during their rendition of "Uncle Tom's Cabin." It was a spectacular dance scene. The second was the introduction of the royal children. The attached pic was the last one I was going to include, when Yul Brynner and Miss Kerr begin dancing.
