Bombshell (2019)
Cinema Showing

Charlize Theron is absolutely BRILLIANT. See this film to watch her .

The characters are complex and the depth of the issue is treated with sophistication. Charlize Theron, John Lithgow, Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie were amazing! Charlize Theron did have some prosthetics, but minimal. What was so incredible about her performance was her voice, cadence, mannerisms. She, totally, transformed into Megyn Kelly. Charlize Theron is absolutely BRILLIANT. Lithgow was hideously vile. The physical transformation and the embodiment of Ailes was astounding. Nicole Kidman is unrecognizable as Gretchen Carlson, who she portrays with marvelous sympathy and grit. Margot Robbie played a composite of several Fox News debutants, if you will. Her innocent enthusiasm, devastation, and ultimate strength was incredible. All four were spectacular in their roles . A highly entertaining film with more than a few revelations. 8.5 /10

First watched as a Netflix Blu-ray and really liked it and gave it 5 stars

Even better in 3D so I had to kick it up to 6

Bug Disney, tell them you want a sequel, that's what people who worked on the first one are saying. The first one did well internationally.

Watched the Arrow Films version of " Donnie Darko " for the first time last night. Looks good for a 19 year old film. Forgot how much I loved this film ( it's been a few years ) ! Fun to see all these stars nearly 20 years younger too !

Ford v Ferrari (2019)
Cinema Showing 8/10

Director: James Mangold
Cast: Matt Damon, Christian Bale, Jon Bernthal, Josh Lucas, Caitriona Balfe, JJ Field, Noah Jupe, Ray McKinnon, Tracy Letts, Remo Girone
Screenplay: Jez Butterworth & John-Henry Butterworth and Jason Keller
Cinematography: Phedon Papamichael
Music: Marco Beltrami, Buck Sanders
U.S. Distributor: 20th Century Fox

Ford v Ferrari celebrates friendship, and the good, old fashioned underdog spirit, going up against the odds to achieve the impossible.
Bale and Damon make a formidable pair, jiving between friendship, respect, banter and an obscene amount of technical knowledge. Through their performances, they make the friendship and engineering relationship between 'man and machine' personal. And as the film finally waves that checkered flag, Mangold creates pure racing at its finest.

That had been rumors that a good HD broadcast master existed for this. This proves it.

Nobody has said anything to me about it. I was looking at it as the "last thing I watched". If the powers to be don't want me to post TV series, I'll stop.

Well it does say movie in the title which is why I have been silent for quite a while, I have had to keep clearing off my DVR to keep it from being full. I really need to stop recording almost every car show ever made
