Watched the October 2008 Blu-ray last night, it's been awhile. Looks great upscaled to 4K, DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. Berry looks fine in her swimsuit.

Last of the Brosnan Bond films. I remember Rosamund Pike and Toby Stephens making an impression when I first saw it. Stephens is the son of Dame Maggie Smith and Lord Robert Stephens. Pike's film debut, a fine actress. Will be watching her recent film A Private War soon.

Always liked Brosnan as Bond.

There is, but it doesn't in any way take away from the sharpness and detail of the presentation... at least for me it doesn't.

(I obviously can't post an 4K HDR screenshot, so I took these which are SDR scaled down a bit.)

Watched the colorized version last night, I know blasphemy! A film I've seen many times and reportedly Harryhausen's favorite. Look for him in a cameo role. The rare sci-fi movie where one feels sympathy for the creature being hunted and harrassed by humans...from birth to death. Blu-ray version was released in December 2007.
Not blasphemy, it's from 1957, if they had the budget they would have made it in color. It's not film noir.

Saw 'Dark Phoenix' last night in an ATMOS theater. X-Men films have been divisive from the first film, so controversy goes with the territory. I liked the film, it's sort of a blend of older Marvel and newer Marvel. Come with an open mind you might like it.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters- Far from a perfect film, but infinitely better than the dullsville and inexplicably acclaimed Gareth Edwards outing. Writer/director Michael Dougherty, unlike Edwards, understands that audience are there to see the titular monsters, and delivers them. Unfortunately, it’s at the expense of any particularly interesting human story and the social commentary feels ridiculously half-baked. The performers do what they can with the thin characterizations, but it’s the kaiju who are the real stars, and the action is suitably exciting.

The Good Dinosaur 3D (2015) - Peter Sohn directs. Voiced by Raymond Ochoa, Jack Bright, Sam Elliott, Anna Paquin, A.J. Buckley, Steve Zahn, Jeffrey Wright and Frances McDormand.

Cute kid friendly movie but not on the level of other Pixar movies. Gorgeous to look at and the 3D is very good, the depth is very nice but there are very few pop-outs. Somewhat of a troubled production and the storyline is sort of an indication. Although the film grossed $332 million worldwide the film is considered the first Pixar box-office bomb.

As a 3D fan I must get out to see Films in 3D in the first week at odd times ;or the 3D format will leave the Theater .

Men in Black: International (2019) 3D Theater Showing 8 /10

Every so often a movie gets so thoroughly shellacked by critics that, when you see it and realize it's actually quite good, you can't help but feel sorry for the filmmakers. Stars: Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Kumail Nanjiani & Liam Neeson With a cast like this how crappy could it be . Its not . I enjoyed the wacky Men in Black: International in 3D man !!!!

Brosnan was always the smartest Bond, Craig is the Bond that seemed most like an ex-special forces guy. Moore is actually closer to how Ian Fleming saw Bond. Moore needed better scripts. No Bond could have saved some of those movies.
