Who would have thought 3-years ago we would be sitting here today saying we can't believe it took this long to get Michael Rooker, Chris Pratt, and Kurt Russell together on-screen FINALLY! What an awkwardly awesome and perfect combination of characters and actors to pull this off!

I, for one, cannot wait to see the interaction between Quill Jr., Yondu, and Quill Sr. with Yondu having to answer for why he didn't deliver Quill Jr. to daddy like he was paid to do AND thinks Quill Sr. is a jackass! You can't make this stuff up! Oh wait...they did. Kudos to Marvel for the perfect choice yet again here.

Well 3 years ago Chris Pratt was nobody - it's not like "3 legends finally meet on screen"... I like Pratt, he's very funny (Rooker too), but the only legend here is Kurt Russell. You make it sound like we've been waiting for this to happen for decades

Since GOTG is the best Marvel film yet 2 has some big shoes to fill. I hope Kurt plays Kurt and not some CGI horseshirt like Spader did in Duhvenger'd 2: Mean Faceless Horded Again

Morph, apologies, but I was being incredibly sarcastic with my comment. It obviously didn't translate in the text. I was very much aiming at a sideways compliment to them (Marvel) for taking all these guys out of nowhere and making this must-see video:-)

Been watching Pratt ever since Everwood and Parks & Recreation; he was basically a slob until Jurassic World. He went from clump to hunk after he lost that weight.

i understand appealing to larger crowds but some of these movies are just targeting too young of a crowd. most comics are based around violence. i just cant get in to this one

For those that prefer 3D, James Gunn just confirmed shifting aspect ratios again for the Imax 3D version: https://www.facebook.com/jgunn/photo...4102862206157/

Quote:
Those who have followed me awhile know that IMAX is the optimal way to view a Guardians movie. I personally oversee the 3D, crafting every shot, and only in IMAX do we shift aspect ratios during big scenes so that you get nearly 30% more screen size than anywhere else. Unlike many other films today where screen size shifts and 3D are afterthoughts, we plan our aspect ratios during the script stage, and every single shot is tailored for 3D as we shoot it. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 is designed to be a fully immersive experience to be seen IN theaters. I'm glad that we've been able to partner up with IMAX from the moment of its conception.
Quote:
If you don't like 3D go see the movie in HDR. For me and a lot of others Guardians is at its best in 3D - and this one is even better in that format.

Here's some useless trivia for your next conversation, Chris Pratt was discovered while working at a Bubba Gumps restaurant.
