Managed to get a ticket for a show on the 28th at the Jordan's Furniture IMAX in Reading, MA. Couldn't get the ticket online due to all the problems their site (and others) were having, so I hot-footed it to the place in person. (I've little doubt others had to do much the same as I did.) They were already sold out for the early premiere on the 25th by the time I got there, and I couldn't do either of the next two days, so I settled for the Sunday following. Can't really complain now since I'm in for it. The 3D and ratio expansion will be well worth what I paid, especially for this one.

Looks like the premiere went well - with really positive opinions. I cant see it until May 5th, so it is time for me to go dark for a while.

Demand is so high for 'Avengers: Endgame' that many AMC theaters will be open 24 hours a day all weekend

Quote:
AMC Theatres, the largest movie-theater chain, announced on
Monday that 17 of its theaters in the US will be open from
Thursday night through Sunday to accommodate the high
demand to see "Avengers: Endgame."

Twenty-nine AMCs are scheduled to be open around the clock
Thursday through Friday, and 18 are scheduled to be open around
the clock Thursday through Saturday (or Friday through Sunday).

This is in response to the huge presales for "Endgame" that AMC
has received. The company announced that the movie broke the
record for the most presale tickets sold for any movie in the 99-
year history of AMC.

Just bought tickets to this for Friday afternoon. Only time there were any decent seats available at the theater we like. I will be taking my kid out of school a little early. Which he thinks is slick as can be. Haven't told the Mrs yet. I've found it better to ask for forgiveness than permission.😇

You'll have to go a second time with just your wife, I recommend a good dinner and drinks to go with it. Change the film if you have to, according to her wishes. And are you caught up on your household chores ?

watched it yesterday and all i can say is that it was great.
In my mind that story easily can be a 10 hour or 2-3 episodes aka starwars but i get the logistic and money problem to have a ton of actors of this pay caliber.

I need to see it 2nd time for sure because its so many things and details that i really miss many things or my mind wasnt able to absorb all that info. Since yesterday i found myself thinking of what happened in that scene or in there etc.

Yeah, I had Thanos give her a call. He ran scared after she busted out the rolling pin. Stark swooped in and saved the day. The big smoothie.
