I don't think you're being a contrarian...Infinity War was better for a lot of folks, and more and more are starting to admit it was a movie with a few great moments, but not a great movie--that's where I'm at. I walked out of the theater thinking "oh well...the end".

@JediMastr - i loved Infinity Wars so much i think it would have been best that i just never saw this one. Too many plot holes and contradictions to things already established. I wont get it on blu ray and just pretend it never happened.

The theatre we we went too everybody in there was very excited, they were all very involved first time ive seen a whole theatre get very excited. Its good at times but with that much excitement they can miss what they say. The first one ( Lux ) we watched it was great everyone just sat back and laughed at the appropriate scenes.

We call it Lux over here where you order food etc that where we went to watch the first one. But i dont use recliners because I fall asleep.

I just want to say that I am proud of the thread members for critically looking at this movie and not just being fan-boys. A lot of thoughtful questions and issues.

These are some of my issues. I need to let it go....I just feel duped, first Captain Marvel and now Endgame. I think the first Avengers and Infinity Wars were just incredibly done and it's not fair to expect that level of film from all of them.

I think i can say this without spoiler tags, as it relates more to Ragnorak. Hela was able to catch and crush mjolnir because her magic rivaled Odins, the person who put the enchantments on mjolnir to begin with. If her magic was equal to or better than his, which i believe they explained it was while she is in Asgard (she draws energy from it), then she can cancel out the enchantments and its just a hammer.

For anyone else to have that ability would require some explanation, especially if they didnt have any infinity stones....

Stormbreaker is supposed to be the strongest weapon in all of Asgard, be indestructable, summon dimensional energy, amplify Thors energy, and summon the bitfrost.

If somebody had a weapon that could hold up to and easily deflect stormbreaker, it would require at least a 30 second explanation, as it would be the strongest weapon in the universe we would have been exposed to, short of the combined infinity stones.

Mjolnir and Stormbreaker were both forged by Eitri. Both weapons are powerful because of Eitri. Odin only put the "worthiness" enchantment on Mjolnir.
It doesn't look like I'm going to be able to convince you to like Endgame, so I'm going to stop trying. When the 4K Steelbook for it comes up for pre-order though, I will be adding it to my collection.

I can say the same for this. Never been so drained after a film as this.....Just wow. Laughed ....cried....swore and cheered....what a ride!
