Knives Out

This is a movie written and directed by Rian Johnson. It presents as an old fashioned whodunnit with some humor and some odd casting choices (but pretty much made fun of within the movie). It has a high RT score for both critics and audience. I saw it last night with my wife and we enjoyed it though I saw a lot of it from a mile away. Great cast and seems to be picked because Rian Johnson might be a fan of theirs as opposed to who is the best looking actor. I'd say it is a fun movie which can easily be a date movie and worthwhile enjoying. Basically a funny charming Clue type movie (which is referentially referred to). There is a stretch where it gets a little ho hum but it sticks the landing quite well.

This, in a nutshell. My son and I liked it, my wife not so much.

Watched this at the theater last night. I missed the beginning and walked in when it said "1 week later" or something.

All I can say is.....where can I get me an Ana De Armas? I couldnt stop staring, which is ok when its a movie ;-).

It really had me guessing for awhile. But thats the trickery of movies and how the script can flip to something the audience has no clue about. Its kind of unfair in this situation.

You must have not seen Knock Knock yet. Movie sucks, except for her of course.

You just need to wait until 2049, then "everything you want to see, everything you want to hear" will be available from the Wallace Corporation. Emanator available at extra cost.

(P.S.: If you can't wait until then, check out Blade Runner 2049.)
