For $19.99 they should allow you to own it, not rent it.

After the usual 3 month window the usual media should be available to purchase.

The listing on VUDU at the moment is "to own" (but it's been listed that way prior to the announcement). Usually the rentals are less even for "in theaters". We'll see on Friday.

Another way of looking at it...For a premium rental price, it should be a premium film.

That's a whole different discussion

I watched 'The Hunt'. It's not necessarily a premium film However, it was a lot of fun. I'd call it dark humor and worth a watch.

I found it to be very entertaining.

I laughed at the end when they were rolling the acting credits. So they wouldn't be hunted down and shot, they made sure they were PC so as not to upset the progressive elites:

Flight Attendant / Not Stewardess / Kelly: Hannah Alline

Oh yeah. I didn't mean to sound sour on the movie. I was definitely entertained and recommended it to several people. However, in the context of what is and what isn't a great movie, this one falls into the "entertaining" list. It's not going to win any awards.

I'm surprised about all the hoopla surrounding this movie's first attempt at release. There's plenty there that pokes fun at everyone. And that's how I took it; just fun. No offense was taken at all.
