hi all,

just got a 6.1 receiver and need some dvd movies that are mixed in dd-ex or dts-es. i have starwars 1 and 2 but want some more titles.

Ken,

The most complete and well updated list I've seen of EX/ES titles is by Troy LaMont and can be seen here. The titles are broken down by all three formats: DD EX, DTS ES, DTS ES Discrete 6.1 (including ES Discrete 6.1 music CDs).

No big explosions but the dts-es track on Open Water is impressive.Its very enveloping with the waves and ocean sounds all aroud you,adding to the tenseness of the film.By conveying the vastness of the ocean it adds a subtle hopelessness to the couple's plight.
