Thanks!
Just tried another scan and it showed up this time

On another note, I'm glad ThisTV is back on Digital
I'll likely watch it sometimes, never would watch or even try to watch it from that low powered analog
It was too snowy for my taste

they were running shows for a couple of hours 2 days ago and I think they are working out the resolution on this .3 channel since i noticed the were running some shows and commercials in widescreen

by the way, what happened to WPGA-LP channel 50; will Register Communications let it die and just have WPGA-TV 58 as their only TV station under their belt?

WMGT-TV finally puts something on that blank channel 41.4 (which used to be labeled "BCSD17")

as of today 41.4 is now carrying Escape Network

Macon stations that are slated to change channels after FCC auction

well with the TV stations being shuffled around once again (and some selling out to the highest bidder and signing off the air), the Macon market has a few stations changing channels themselves...

Stations that will be moving to a new channel/frequency
WGXA channel 24, DT-16 moves to channel 26
WMUM-TV channel 29, DT-7 moves to channel 9
WDMA-CD channel 31, DT-31 moves to channel 16 (WGXA's current channel)
WMGT-TV channel 41, DT-40 moves to channel 30
WGNM channel 45, DT-45 moves to channel 33
WPGA-TV channel 58, DT-32 moves to channel 23

Stations that are staying where they are
WMAZ channel 13, DT-13
WMUB-LD channel 38, DT-38

So for those that use an antenna...is ABC16's picture as bad OTA as it is on Mediacom? It looks like absolute crap on Mediacom. It almost looks like really bad upscaled standard definition with horrendous deinterlacing. Tried watching a college game on that channel the other day and it looks craptastic.

Can anyone confirm that WMGT has changed channels as scheduled?

Two problems - Macon OTA

1. CW channel (13.2) occasional audio dropout for a second or two. Haven't noticed it on other TVs (but haven't listened for it either).

2. After at least 2 rescans in the last couple of days, every Channel 41 sub channel has two copies in the detected channel list (e.g two 41-1, two 41-2, etc.). When I go to the 2nd of each, I get the "no signal" display. The first of each works. Never had this happen before. I had to manually edit the channel list to exclude the 2nd of each. I checked signal strength and its running about 75%, same as channel 58, which works fine. (Channels 24 and 13 are higher signal level)

Anybody else having one or both problems with Macon OTA TV?

probably due to the station (WMGT) moving from RF40 to RF30. Maybe they had both lit up at same time? What RF station are they on? The new one (30) or the old (40)?

Maybe they are broadcasting the carrier on the old frequency as well as carrier + signal on new (or vice versa), and that is causing my issue (see above). I would think many folks would be confused and it would be in the news by now.

Edit: Unclehonkey beat me by 4 minutes!

WPGA-TV channel 58 (Digital 23) is being SOLD!

I figured this was going to happen one day, and that day has come to pass...

WPGA is being told to Marquee Broadcasting (same company that owns 3 other Georgia TV stations (WGTA in Toccoa, WSST in Cordele and WSWG in Valdosta))
