When the RCA power source is plugged into the power outlet, some of the channels become pixelated. What do I have wired incorrectly?

I got on the forum just to try and answer you question! I live in the Morrow area and have the same exact setup you do. It works pretty good and its not in the best location. Please try your Antenna with the amp completely discounted and see what it does? If your channels become pixelated when you plug it in they may be getting over powered. That amp will not let signals get through if you just un plug it. at least when I un plug mine it kill most of the signals. Mason should be a real hot spot for Cincinnati / Dayton stations.

With the amp completely removed and the antenna placed indoors on ground level, I get every possible channel clearly with no pixels. By "every" I mean the ones below. Anything with a "(*)" or "(**)" next to it means that it is pixelated as soon as I mount the antenna outdoors. I can also pick up every channel with mohu leaf indoor antenna, on ground level with the exception of the ones with a "(**)" next to it. The issue is my set in the basement. The mohu won't pick up signal in the basement so with the antenna mounted outdoors, it's going into a 4 way splitter to feed the 2nd floor, basement, ground floor living room and ground floor office. I strongly believe that it's the 4 way splitter causing the signal to be weaker. I think my best solution is to try and route the antenna mounted outdoors directly to the basement bypassing the splitter, and use a mohu leaf for the living room and upstairs bedroom, knowing only the basement will get all the channels.

I get 20, its really worth getting if you can. Unfortunately for me 39 is my strongest signal I get it around 100 %. Its a religious channel that I have no interest in watching. Its off to the west from the other stations that why you may be having trouble getting it.

Don't use splitters (they kill your signal). This is epecialy true if you are using a 4 way splitter. Use a 4 output (amplifier) instead. They are $15.69 at Menard's.
$24.99 at Lowes (but they do price match).

This is what I use here in Sharonville.
I tried a amplifier on the antenna and it caused all types of pixilation problems. Too much signal!

A few months back someone had the TV set at work on WWRD and it was that good old snowy reception that so many of us grew up with and yes, they too are still analog.

Looks like WRCX-LP had a CP to go digital though it expired in 2015.

The Cincinnati Enquirer is promoting a new TV Week in their print edition and apparently also, online. I viewed a sample of it but it still does not show listings for any sub channels of the Cincinnati and Dayton TV markets stations. Any idea why? They are only showing the main channel listings which is odd since there are a lot of other stations to view.

Sinclair has added TBD Network to 64.4. I'm Disappointed that Sinclair has dropped GetTV. If Elliot Block sees this maybe he could add GetTV to either 20 or 25. Still no ChargeTV on 64.5 yet although Dayton has it already.

Still waiting for 64.5 to show up on my Tv's. In other news, it looks like THIS TV has been replaced on 25.2 by Classic movies that was on 25.7. Friday Night FU is gone as 25.7&25.8 has been dropped completely. 20.7 & 20.8 have a no signal message. Not sure if that is related to yesterday's weather or if the shopping channels have been removed.

On my blog I posted about Grit being removed from Dayton TV and replaced with TBD and the people absolutely hate it. Normally my blog probably averages one or two responses per post at best but that posting has over 20 responses and all are negative toward TBD. One poster said that "even the stoners won't watch TBD," and from what I've seen there's probably some truth to that.

Some of those comments are hilarious and true. TBD is the Idiocracy of TV channels. If you've ever seen the movie Idiocracy you know what I'm talking about. I think they could've have kept all of the channels they dropped. I know WTVQ in lexington KY runs 780p main with 5 480i subs.

Anyone have any idea where WBCQ Ch. 25 will move to on the dial when the repack of the UHF TV spectrum is complete? Channels 37 will be gone from UHF TV in around 3 years and any stations currently residing on a channel above 36 will have to move or go off the air. Every other channel in the Cincinnati market is already on 35 or below.

When I talked to Elliot @ ch.20/25 about 6 months ago he wasn't very optimistic that there was going to be many channels left after the full power stations are done.

Would Ch. 25 be able to move to a VHF channel. While there will be some stations moving to VHF Low and VHF High, it is unlikely that all the available VHF channels in Cincinnati and Dayton will be used.
