Just guessing, I'd say you're getting WTMO-CD in standard definition via WRDQ as they simulcast the programming on a subchannel. I don't live there, so I don't know for sure, but, generally, if you can get one subchannel, you should get them all as they're all sent as part of the same signal. The fact you can't tells me you're getting WTMO from WRDQ's signal.
To get WVEN and WTMO directly, you're probably going to need more aluminum than you're comfortable with. Hopefully, someone in the area will have a better idea.
Also, please clarify "attached to the current DirecTV antenna.." Have you canceled DirecTV or does this need to run concurrent with DirecTV? There are a number of antennas that will fit on a DirecTV dish mounting or mast. I've used them many times, but rarely with the dish still attached. If you're not using DirecTV, then you can use the coax, but OTA and DirecTV can't share the same coax in most cases.
