If you live out in the Florida swamplands or Colorado, or Utah, or Georgia, or ... you don't have cable - OTA TV broadcast isn't going away any time soon.

If you're responding to @Mitchman , I think he's referring to the Antenna TV Network, not OTA in general.

Walking the fine line between jaw-dropping and a plain ol' yawn.

Correct. MGOMRJSURF originally posted that Antenna-TV (27.2) was going to be replaced by DABL on 9/9. I see his/her post has been changed to read "Cozi TV becoming DABL on 9-9 so it needs a new home." Which is on (6.2). Anyone know if Cozi-TV will move to another station?

Rest assured Cozi is still with us. And there has been some channel shuffling done over on John Young Pkwy. The lineup for WKMG-6's sub channels are as follows.
6.2 - DABL
6.3 - Cozi. Previously 6.2
6.4 - Start. Same as before
And now on the newly activated 6.5 - Decades. Previously 6.3
Mitchman and Nayan like this.

Looks like the Florida Channel is back on WDSC 15.2.................again....................WHY? ???

Update:
This is insane. Now the Florida Channel is off again and the screen that says they no longer carry that channel as of August 24, 2017 has returned.

I noticed WATV 47 showed up during my latest scan. It has color Bars with TEST on 47.1 and no sub-channels.

It is. My family in Palm Bay cant get WFTV anymore as of earlier this month. I went over there to test the signal out with a converter box with a signal meter. Got nothing on RF 39 or their new channel RF 35. There was nothing listed about their signal on their webpage or social media at that time. I called WFTV up and asked about their signal. I was told that due to the repack they had to do some work at their main transmitter site out by Christmas and they're currently operating from their auxiliary transmitter site in St. Cloud. This should be done by sometime next week. Hopefully they will be making some announcements about rescanning soon on the air and on social media. According to Antennaweb there are 10 stations in the Orlando market that are changing frequencies in the next few weeks.

I know it doesn't help the OTA folks, but I have been seeing rescan notices/scrolls while watching them on D* (also rescan notices on WOFL/Fox 35). Next time I see it I'll pay more attention to the date but I believe it's closer to the end of Jan.

I was watching WFTV News (9.1) this morning. At exactly 6:00 am, the signal disappeared and my TV posted a message, "Video Format Not Supported." I checked Laff (9.2) and Escape (9.3) and they had the same message. So I rescanned my channels and 9.1, 9.2, and 9.3 all reappeared with no problem. Did WFTV do their switch today???

Yep they did. Off to rescan mine now.

I just saw the calendar and we have to rescan on the 16th for WESH. Thought it was today too. I need more coffee!

Is WUCF already off the air? And after 10AM, can someone confirm the moves were successful for stations other than WUCF?

Any chance you, or someone else, can confirm they've made it to their new frequencies? I mean, it's possible nothing has moved and you rescanned and got everything on the old frequencies.

I am just trying to get some kind of confirmation before updating RabbitEars to reflect the new channels.

Thanks for the link showing wucf maintenance, I wondered why it was off the air.

I've not had a problem with any of the Networks in the last three months including NBC (WESH2), which can be a problem in that they still broadcast VHF. FOX35 is working fine as well.

I can confirm that WFTV 9 has switched from 39 to 35.
I can confirm that WKCF 18 has changed to their new frequency.
I can confirm that WUCF is off the air at present.
I can confirm that whatever WVEN 43 did, I can now receive them really well.

Never had WESH, never will. NBC doesn't exist where I live. Never understood why co-owned 18 doesn't become the main NBC station since they have better coverage as a UHF.

Thank you! Are you able to receive WOTF (26-1)? It was supposed to have moved from 49 to 15 but I've heard a few comments that it's off the air right now.

I've never gotten that one, and nothing so far. We're 40 miles equidistant from both Orlando and Tampa's main signal farms.
