The link is for Amazon, UK.

Both 'Shutter Island' 4K and 'Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters' 4K are being released next Monday.

I think the show looks great when I watch it on my OLED with the lights out, so I definitely see the potential for HDR here. But yeah it's just stupid that Hulu doesn't support even 4K anymore, let alone HDR. This is one show that definitely should have been both 4K and HDR when it originally came out.

If they're going to do this it might be worth waiting for UHD for the second season.

Ok so you were just adding to my post, not contradicting it. I know it’s being released internationally, that’s why I put that in my posts, the original question was for US (as this is a NA based forum).

Yes. I was able to get 4K HLG HDR and Atmos from my Directv C61K client box during the Winter Olympics.

Problem for me was that the center channel was overwhelmed by talking head announcers while the the sounds of the actual event were barely heard. I ended up turning the volume on my center channel as low as possible and then turning up the master volume to reference level.

Hopefully they have learned since then.

New one includes support for 4K streaming, Dolby Vision HDR, HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Atmos surround sound, as well as faster internals and an overhauled remote. The remote now comes with dedicated buttons for power, volume, and mute, as well as an IR transmitter that gives it a modicum of control over various soundbars, cable boxes, and AV equipment.

I think that's just a weird thing the Hulu app does. I don't think the letterbox is part of the video stream itself.

Basically DV, HLG, and HDR10+ are new HDR additions. . The old fire TV pendant a!ready did Atmos, HDR10, and UHD. And of course the improved remote and a lower price of $50 with the new FireTV 4k stick.

I grabbed it from Amazon (UK). $26 shipped. Being that this is Paramount we are talking about it seems unlikely it will make a US debut aside from streaming.

I finally ended canceling Hulu, I've decided I don't want to pay for a HD steamer, only 4k. At this point, Hulu hasn't brought 4k to enough devices, specifically my Apple TV or my Roku!

Received the 4K HDR Solo today, and watched tonight - did others find the HDR ho humm? (with stopping and starting the movie, the HDR disappeared. After finishing the movie realized no HDR. Had to completely shut down the movie and start from scratch to get the HDR working again - quickly viewed various scenes throughout, and especially the last 15 minutes - couldn't really see a difference with HDR on or off - big disappointment !)

Yes, it was an ok movie but as far as video quality, I thought it was one of the worst in 2018. I had heard they changed Director's midstream but don't know why Ron Howard would allow such poor video quality in this one?

Thanks @subacabra! I am making some modifications to my room tonight, and will spin the 4K after that. Always did like it when Vince hammers that Mopar into a wheelie!

I watched my Fast and the Furious Part1 4k Blu Ray last night and it was gorgeous. That new 4k scan looks great and the hdr is great too. If You're a fan at all its a must own.
