Looks like it was unceremoniously released with no notice whatsoever: https://www.slashfilm.com/the-wander...tflix-release/

It’s dual redeem so you may want to check ITunes and Vudu. Codes always go quick though.

Upcoming Netflix HDR titles:
- Good Sam
- Malibu Rescue
- Rim of the World
- The Society

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but Black Mirror Season 3 is now in HDR/DV.
Narcos also has HDR badge, particularly appear when you're watching S3, but still in SDR in playback for all 3 seasons.

Watching Black Hawk down on ITunes just to see how things looks (4kDV). From the little I have seen, do not judge the image until after the title card. It looks like a beautiful transfer, even streaming.

Master List of currently available 4k HDR titles, will be updated often.

I received Backdraft and Black Hawk Down today. Backdraft is my all time favorite movie, saw it in theaters with my dad when I was 5, and it’s the reason I’m a firefighter now. I’ve owned every version from vhs through blu ray. I watched Backdraft tonight on my brand new 65” C9 , Black hawk down tomorrow.

Backdraft looks and sounds absurdly good. The detail, highlights (especially the apparatus lights and the reflections off the firefighters coats) look so, so good. Detail is off the charts in most scenes, the fire looks absolutely amazing and the dts x track pressurized the hell out of my room. If I had one complaint, it would be that the blacks could have been a tad deeper. Some of the blacks look smoky gray, not necessarily raised but just not super deep. Overall very, very happy with the treatment given this movie which means so much to me. 9/10

I got about 30 mins into Black Hawk Down last night and boy this transfer is razor sharp. Which does turn the grain up to an 11 when present but still it looks authentic and amazing. The detail is unreal and there's a lot more to see in shadows, especially when inside a chopper. Close ups are just wow, colors remain true. Overall, the grit of the movie is taken up a notch with this transfer and they just did it right.
A cool moment of Atmos when the guy selling guns in Bakara market shoots up an AK in the air, sounds like he's shooting up your ceiling. Hope to finish the rest of it tonight but all that carnage can be a little too much for one seating.
My one tiny complaint is the static image menu unlike the amazing video menu the bluray has. PS, not really a fan of this extended cut... TC is already epic!

Sneaky Pete season 3 UHD HDR is out tomorrow on Prime but I haven't seen much of any advertising by Amazon. In fact, I had to do a search on Prime this morning to find it as it's not listed on the "Originals" section of Prime.

Amazon has a terrible user interface, but they have some very good content. They are pretty much a must have for HDR tv owners.

I wouldn't say it is terrible, but it definitely is not intuitive for first time users. I use it pretty frequently since I subscribe to HBO/Showtime through Prime and have mastered the interface.

The problem with it is, you shouldn’t have to master an interface...that’s a pretty good sign that it’s bad.

This is why I'm hoping Apple is holding back in their beta of TV+. According to reports, their stream is of a lesser quality than Prime's for HBO. I love a few shows on Prime, but hate having to search the whole grid to find a show in 4K.

I noticed that Best Buy is getting into the Disc+Digital game for early access. I was just able to pre-order How to Train Your Dragon: Hidden World and instantly (well, a few minutes later) got a Movies Anywhere code for the movie.

Interesting. I just preordered Captain Marvel and Endgame 3 days ago and didn't get anything like that. Is the how to train a dragon movie already out on digital?

As mentioned, it's already out on digital. Also, Disney doesn't traditionally participate in Disc+Digital on Vudu so if the same holds, I wouldn't expect it with Best Buy either.

Scanning over the preorder section, so far I've ONLY seen Hidden World listed with the Movies Anywhere Code as an additional bonus item. So, it's hard to tell if this is going to be more of a thing moving forward or a one-of. That said, I don't think there's very many new releases out right now on digital that aren't out on disc yet, so there's not a huge sample size to check.

Looking at Vudu, the only other early access digital release is Cold Pursuit which is lionsgate so that precludes a Movies Anywhere code and isn't even Disc+Digital UHD on Vudu.

So what's everyone watching nowadays and hows the 4K HDR quality? Wanna hear people's thoughts as that's what I find closest to matching my preference of PQ and not what's being professionally reviewed out there.

I just saw Shape of Water last night and it had some fantastic 4K shots and HDR moments along with oodles of detail in shadows. Have not been able to go back to Black Hawk Down yet as I have to be in that carnage, despair, and mind-numbing action mood to be able to watch it lols.
