Punisher Season 2 was the most recent thing that really wowed me in terms of its HDR

Lucy looks good, so did Ender’s Game and Passengers. I’ve got The Fifth Element and heard it looks good, but I haven’t watched it yet. At this point, I’m only watching from 4K disc, no streaming.

Black Hawk Down is phenomenal. Best old remastered movie yet. Way better than Saving Private Ryan, Gladiator, and Braveheart!
So crispy and gritty that you can feel it...

If you're in NYC, you can sample the new Wu-Tang documentary series in Vision+Atmos at Dolby SoHo starting Thursday. It's the only way to see it in that quality since Showtime doesn't stream 4k or release 4k discs. But hopefully it's a sign that they are mastering their stuff in HDR in preparation for the day they do make the switch: https://www.facebook.com/events/1929569643838270/

That’s interesting as much of the content is “old” (90’s). Very good 4 part doc if you’re a fan of the group or want to know what they are about.

Netflix added a kids movie, Malibu Rescue, in 4k HDR, which I believe is just a long pilot for a new show that is coming soon.

I watched "Hannibal" in 4k Dolby Vision last night and thought the video quality was very good. It was like watching it for the first time since it's such a vast improvement from the blu-ray. Highly recommend this one even though it didn't come with a digital copy. Much better transfer on this one compared to the 4k HDR transfer of "Silence of the Lambs".

It was in HD DV 5.1 DD+ when I watched it a couple of Sundays ago.

Assuming I'm remembering correctly.

With Netflix I check an HDR title first on my ATV 4K to see if it has Atmos audio. Then if not I watch it in DV from my TCL UHD TV, or my FireTV 4K, or my Philips UHD BD player. I watched the Wandering Earth from my Philip's player since I can toggle the streaming info on it to see what bitrate encode is being played from Netflix.

It's in 1080P Dolby Vision. Note that it also has an ATMOS badge on the Apple TV 4K, but it only plays in DD+. There is no ATMOS badge from the internal Netflix app on Sony TV (900F), and it plays in DD+ as well.

I think they're having issues with their Atmos titles today. This morning I tried to play "Black Summer" on two different Netflix Atmos capable devices and I got an error. It played fine when watching on my Nvidia Shield but it was only DD+ 5.1.

The Shield is ATMOS capable but not for Netflix. Black Summer plays in ATMOS on ATV4K fine.

Saw it myself today, even though I didn’t see it in DC, I could tell it should be an HDR demo worthy movie for image quality.

Seems that Alita: Battle Angel is the first Fox movie to have both Dolby Vision and HDR10+, besides including a 3D disc as well.

So is it getting DV because of Disney, or James Cameron, or both?
