Perhaps he could be the next Brayden Majika who got shot in the head during the Vegas shooting, went to the hospital where they didn’t shave his head to clean or treat the wound and was released a day later and all over the media telling his amazing story and showing the wound which barely looked like a scratch. Then got a GoFund me page making tons of cash off his claim and said he has blurred vision and brain damage from it.

A sufficiently detailed question contains the seeds of an initial response.

Does He like directing? Fx? Audio? Foley? Cgi? D fx? Then ask a few whats available.

Check out things like radius and primer if directing is the goal.

They're overrated to start. I have to sit in the last row to line up with the middle of the screen. Projector not as good as a screen even if it is big. Sound i will give it to them. Have to go during the day so no annoying people ruin the movie, food is overpriced.

The local one would have specials on certain days, but it's even crappier than your average theater so meh.

I cannot afford that to our local. The purveyor of noise, a wall of indecipherable sound.

I would happily start going to the movies regularly again if the following is provided:

  • 35mm projection
  • Ticket price 5 bucks or lower

We have a theater that has $5 tickets all day, or we did before the lock-down.

The last time I saw 35mm projection at that theater the film had lots of scratches; the print was in terrible condition, probably mostly from being shown in the much pricier theaters earlier in the film's run.

But when they upgraded to digital, the picture was pristine.

Right now, though, only their kitchen is open, and that for take-out.

A temperature controlled room with closed doors is perfect for virus transmission.
Even with social distancing a single sneeze from an infected person will disperse the virus into a waiting audience.

I wonder how much the packed movie theater rooms contributed to the problem?

And thus just thinking about this is a primal reason I am done with movie theaters as the risk is just too high and the rewards to paltry for such high entry fees.

Theaters will be no mask, no entry and will be for a long time.

So are we going to have more instances of patrons refusing to wear masks and then shooting employees who tell them that they must?

No worse then anywhere else in society. There is no safe space.
