Hi Guys. I'm not going full on Ron here but am selling a few pieces. A pair of Dynaudio Contour 1.8 mk II in very good condition asking 950.00 but of course am flexible. I have them listed on FB for sale

Also a NAD CL 9060 6 channel amp x90 with a Torridal transformer asking 400.00 but also flexible. Also in very good shape.

If you know anyone who's looking...

Is this all of what you're unloading?

Yes, for now. These are components from secondary systems, not my main HT.

I've had an eye out for some classic ESS AMT speakers. A very clean pair came up at a fair price so I grabbed them. They are replacing the Dyn's in a secondary system. I really still like the Dyn's but the ESS work better in the large space they occupy. The NAD was replaced by a class d Rotel amp for my Atmos speakers and I haven't found another use for it.

Hmm, interesting speakers. I'd never heard of those. Will have to stop by for a listen sometime!

Yes, you do!

There is a new woofer for my Sierra-2's that is about to hit the market in a "Sierra-2EX" version, and should be available as a user installable upgrade for the standard Sierra-2 that would include new crossover boards as well. No idea of timing nor pricing at this stage. Hoping it will be doable as it is supposed to really kick up the performance.

You are welcome to hear my system whenever you are available......and, of course, whenever I am too!

Well I sold the Dyn's to a guy right here in town. Great speakers but a bit too small for the space I had them in. I really like the ESS that replaced them, great classic speakers.

Awesome! Always nice when the puzzle pieces fall in place.

Ron

Have you put your boat away yet?
It sure has been quiet around here lately.

Anybody get any new toys recently.

It HAS been vewy vewy qwiet!!

No new toys here, just enjoying my system as is right now. I am trying to save for a specific "upgrade" but it is taking longer than anticipated due to having a car with over 120K on the odometer demanding some recent TLC. It has put a good sized hole in my wallet!

Ron did say he was going to be away from the A/V madness for the foreseeable future and had sold off his equipment in the summer.

Ron, if you check in here and read this, hope you and your wife are doing well.

I just got back from The Netherlands to go see my new Granddaughter, it was a fantastic trip. I haven't purchased any toys lately, I'm pretty satisfied with my system as is. We all know that's always subject to change.

Hey thanks Bella, and I think I'm going to visit the little Rugrat in a few weeks in California, should be fun!

I also should be getting a few 21 IPAL's by then... Once I get things setup, maybe we could organize a GTG one day!

Ron, good to see your post!

I was visiting family in Las Vegas for Turkey day all last week. Although it was great to see family, there's just no place like your own bed!

While I was there, my wife and I caught the new Ford v Ferrari movie. Highly recommended!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
