So I couldn't find someone to trade on calls with me for Saturday. So my plan is to go into work in the morning and get everything running. I will then assess where everyone is and meet up at a later time if that is ok. I will keep in touch with Luke as the day unfolds as I am not sure what time I will get out of work. Finally got the BB and will be done cutting panels in a day or two to start assembly.

So, I'm starting to geek out about this event. Trying to finalize a few details, but the downside is, I'm only home for two days prior to the event due to travel. But the Projectors are lined up. I GUARANTEE you will see something you have never seen before......

Punch list includes,
Trim around screen
New Rack,
New Source
Write script for demo clips (& select scenes)
Program Remote
Calibrating Lumagen

But I have a questions for you; I have a Panamorph Palladin lens, do you want to see it connected to my Jvc 770R?

See you there!

Good thing the crawl wasn't this weekend:

It started snowing last night and they're estimating we'll have a foot by tonight.

No. It happens from time to time (we've had blizzards in May) but it's definitely rare.

I saw you got hammered with this past snow! We had freezing rain Friday which turned into thunder snow storms Saturday morning into the early evening. I worked at the bank Saturday morning and went out and cleared the front sidewalk when the entire sky lit up from lightening, pretty freaky for those of you who have not experience this. Ended up with 5-6" inches total snowfall. We have had 36+ inches of snow since March 1st! Just unbelievable and I am wearing out my snow blower! Supposed to get 4" - 6" late Tuesday into Wednesday of this week here in Mason City but it is also supposed to be 42 on Friday, 47 on Saturday and 54 on Sunday. Perhaps we are going to see a spring this year. Was wondering if we were going to go straight from Winter to Summer!

That's insane!

Kansas City Mo didn't even have a single snowstorm this year where the kids could sled -- the grass showed over the top of every snowfall we got. My kids were so disappointed as they love to sled.

Aren't you only like 4 hours north? That's a huge disparity.

The picture showing 28" on the yardstick was from March 24th. We had a 17.5" snow and this was how deep the snow was across my driveway from drifting over the house. All this snow was gone last Friday. I blew snow 3 times already since Friday.

The other picture is from March 25th, a car at my girls school....this car is still snowed in from the school clearing the parking lot.Click image for larger version

This weather is not typical. The kids out for track have practiced outdoors 3 times this season, they have had no outdoor meets around here. I suspect in the Des Moines area and south they have. The golf teams have not played at all yet this season other than hitting balls inside.

Wondering if I could hitch a ride to and from lunch at Davanni's from a couple of you fine folks.

Group 1 leaves my house at 11:30, and Group 2 arrives at 2PM. So if I could get someone from Group 1 to bring me to lunch, and someone from Group 2 to bring me back to my house after lunch... it would save me an hour of driving (30 mins each way) by myself.

Let me know, thanks.

I turn the sharpness on my TV all the way up, because that's how I like my picture... real sharp.

Look what arrived last night!
One of the Demo PJs is hung up, and this and another will also be part of the demo.

Hoping I do them justice for you all! I still have to quick calibrate....

Anyone want to see the Panamorph lens in front of the JVC?

I'd be interested to see the RS4500 zoomed for scope and using the lens. The former to see how good the lens on it is (it's supposed to be stellar). And the latter to see how much of a lumens boost and what impact the A-lens has on the picture (not expecting any, but curious).

Heck I want to see an RS4500 PERIOD

What's the word for Friday? I'm hoping to get to your place by 8....but I'm guessing it'll be more around 9. If you're going to be at Bossdogs I'll just head there.

Thanks Mike, I appreciate it. If anybody from Group 2 is willing give me a ride back to my place after lunch I'll take you up on it.

Otherwise I can drive myself, but I just figured it'd be more fun with a few other people.
