Yep $35K, but dealer isn't low $20's, but high $20's.....

And If luck prevails, I'll have another high end projector, probably arrive late Friday.

So needless to say, I'll be up tweaking on things, and I'm warning you know , space isn't 100% done..... But whose is?

We got another 6" to 13" of snow in the Mason City area today. I think we are done now for the winter!

We are now at 25.5" of snow for the month of April, shattering the record 14.5" from 1945. Average April snowfall totals 1.9"!

We have had 39.7" since March 20th, the 1st day of Spring!

For those of you travelling through our area to Minneapolis don't worry about the roads, they are fine now and should be completely dry Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Looking forward to the weekend and catching up with old acquaintances and making new ones!Click image for larger version

Been a long time since I've had 3 10s in my trunk. This is a high performance delivery of Volt 10s.

Sadly I am not getting summer tires on the daily ride just yet... We got an inch this morning, but of course people used it for an excuse to get in to crashes.

Taking my old man sedan, not the wife's minivan. I can't connect my phone with the minivan, and that would ruin my plan of breaking Jonathan's spirit with non-stop hours of different genres of metal.

So stoked to be going, thanks for the invite Luke, Brad, and everyone else on the tour!!

Glad you can make it Sheldon! Look forward to catching up.

Guys, please give some thought to what you want to see or listen to at my place.

Desertdome is the only person to step foot in my theater who wasnt experiencing a home theater for the first time, so this is somewhat a first time hosting for me. I have some thoughts of some stuff you may find interesting but please feel free to bring along any content you may want to try out. I know I am not going to impress you guys with BASS!

Same here Brad!

Do you have the Hanz Zimmer concert in Atmos? I bought that somewhat recently and it's pretty great demo material IMO.

I'm really looking forward to tomorrow! I hope everyone has safe and uneventful trips!

One piece of advice i'll toss out there for the hosts is to have a playlist/plan for what you'll demo. That hour goes by fast.

In some of the smaller rooms (mine included) you may have 3-4 different groups who cycle through, so have a ~10-15 minute demo lined up that you can repeat for each group. That should also leave some time for a few requests. What to demo is easy...demo what you enjoy listening to on your setup

Tonight me and Mike are going to remove the two sofas on my back row (back row only seats 4 total) and I'm putting 8-9 folding chairs back there.

That is the biggest issue with my space, I have a loveseat. And you can't really move too far away from the nearfield subs or you just lose so much.

But now you've got me thinking... I might be able to fit 3 or 4 folding chairs where that loveseat is. Luke, you might be a genius.

I turn the sharpness on my TV all the way up, because that's how I like my picture... real sharp.

A 2003 Explorer in the Cities? That thing must have been rust held together with duct tape and prayers

Very nice ride. I had a '78 CJ7 as the first car my parents let me drive. 3spd and no power anything. Driving an automatic with power steering and cruise control after that felt like cheating. But man that thing was tough as nails and would go through anything. I had a buddy rear end me in a show storm in his '78 Civic. The ball hitch on the Jeep went through his grill, radiator and pulled his exhaust apart. Damage to the Jeep, $0.98 Krylon flat black to repaint the bumper and ball hitch. Good as new. I did have to use 4-Lo to pull myself out of the Civic and snow bank he pushed me into. Those things are tanks.

The explorer had so much rust the weather stripping fell off because the metal it adhered to was gone

I bought it in 2006 with 50k miles and brought 6 newborns home from the hospital in it I was sad to let it go after over 12 years as a daily driver.

The Jeep is a 2018 and the last of the JK's. I did test drive the new JL, and while it was more "refined" it felt more like driving a Camry than a Jeep.

The wife has wanted a Wrangler forever and her only requirement was a manual. Done!

You haven't lived until you've had a Wrangler on two wheels.

I did it by mistake years ago; probably should have replaced the seat afterward.

I would like to apologise in advance. I am going to be stuck at work and won't be home until 7:30-8 this evening. # "I hate my job" it always seems to interfere with anything I try and plan out. If only they didn't pay so well. If anybody was planning on a late night pit stop I will accommodate, just text or call. Sorry guys, will definitely make it tomorrow at some point when I get out of work.
