I will say for those who like bass.... WOW. Alex's system is on a whole other level now.
I've had the pleasure of hearing Alex's system many times over the years, but the work and effort that both Alex and Mark Seaton have put into the audio calibration is unbelievable.
Alex has the ability to play his system at three levels.
My preference falls into the "guest mode" where you get an impactful hit on all bass notes and whooshes of pant flapping air when the scene call for it
Alex mode increases that bass hit two fold and adds the whoosh of air to every bass scene.
Earthquake mode is just raw all out power where even scenes that don't have bass become a steamroller of power. When a scene with bass happens to be played it's foundational shaking, windows upstairs bend and bow out from the sheer pressure waves, neighbors ask what is happening to the home as all they see is it jumping up and down like one of the cars on hydraulic suspensions.
Its not just about the bass now too as the rest of the system sounds crystal clear with no harshness to the highs and at no time fatiguing to the ears at the guest level. At Alex level and Earthquake mode its not your ears that will be fatigued... your whole body will be.
All in all it is a very fun and exciting experience at Alex's Home Theater now.
It is the best I have ever seen or heard your system Alex.
My hat comes off to you good sir.
