It looks like I have the responsibility of kicking off the 2020 GTG's, so I hope you can make it down.

1400 (aka 2 PM) start
CineMark theater; this was coined by a friend in 2001; I had no idea about the existence of the theater chain.
Homer Glen, IL 60491
The room is 27' long x 21' wide with two rows of seating. I have seven seats in there, but can add portable chairs or we can cycle through for demos to maintain the soundfield accuracy. I am flexible. For acoustic treatments, I have DIY absorptive panels in the room and superchunk bass traps behind the screen wall. While I don't have the largest screen or the most impressive room theme, hopefully you find something in the details below that will make the trip worthwhile.
I will provide drinks, snacks, and pizza.
The system consists of:
Audio / Video Processor
Marantz AV8805 AVP
miniDSP 2x4 HD
Classe' CAV-180 180 W x 5
Crestron CNAMPX-16X60 120 W x 4, 60 W x 4
Primary Video Source Device
OPPO UDP-203 playing files from a QNAP NAS; if you want to bring a disc to spin, that is fine, but I might have it already. If you want to make sure I have your favorite content, just ask. The OPPO is super fast to access either chapters or specific time stamps, so if you have that information, that also helps.
Lumagen Radiance Pro 4446-18G
Stewart Filmscreen 110" 1.78:1 Non-perforated with StudioTek 130 screen material.
Seven (7) JTR Triple 12HT-LP from 2011 in the L, C, R, Wides, Surround Backs.
Two (2) JTR Noesis 212HT from 2015 in the surround position (I can explain)
Four (4) JTR Slanted 8HT from 2011 in the Top Front and Top Rear Atmos speaker positions.
Two (2) JTR 4000ULF-ST earthquake machines.
Four (4) Seaton SubMersive Subwoofers.
And last but not least, a Baffle Open Sub Shaker (BOSS) platform consisting of six (6) JBL GX1200 drivers for three front chairs. A BOSS Platform allows for drivers to be mounted near-field to the listener, but not mounted in a sealed or ported enclosure. I haven't built it yet, but I have all the materials and equipment ready. Here is my design for the platform:
Last but not least, here are some photos of my modest DIY theater.
