You can also use these coordinates for location {33.868788, -118.274747} as some navigation systems will lead you astray.

From the street you should see the sign for SoCal Cider & Beer Co. Starke's offices (and others) are behind but share the same driveway.

This picture is from Google's street view
(before the SoCal Cider sign was up).

Yeah, I can imagine the end of the meet, with a dozen AVS members laying wasted on the floor at Starke Sound. Somebody do another beer cider run.

Nothing I have stacks up to anything they have there.
Thinking I'll bring the DVD-A of the LOTR soundtrack.

I want to thank Starke Sound, plus a special thanks to Scott and Dez, for hosting the 2nd annual AVS Forum Los Angeles home theater meet and thank everyone who attended. Here is a link to the Starke Sound Facebook page where there are pictures. Additionally you can find Marc Alexander give his opinion on the Stake Sound amplifier A7.

my failure to get the right handshake for some listening was disappointing (to me-presumably)
so here's a few links

maybe not the whole list but the first track - if you know of something as "good", to say the least, let me know

this one, very unique
for a 'newly invented instrument"

and from Carnegie Hall

i've heard some various versions of the '39 Benny Goodman Carnegie Hall concerts,
but for a just as fabulous if more modern engineering "standout'

have a nice day

Try Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band. A couple of Grammy awards and multiple other nominations. Their version of the song, called Sing, Sang, Sung, is on the Swingin' for the Fences album. SQ is terrific.

Yes I did... I paired it with two HSU VTF-3 MK5HP's... I spent some time dialing them all in today. That thing is a beast!!!

I want to say thanks to the guys at Starke Sound for opening up their place to us all and showing us what they are all about. You guys are really building some gorgeous gear. And man that theater kicks butt!!

I had a great time, was a pleasure meeting all of you guys. It's a lot of fun being around people that are into this wonderful hobby...

I'm looking forward to the next get together.

Thanks again

My mains are fully moded(well soon to be..waiting on custom crossovers from VR3) Polk SRS SDA 3.1TL's... yes my center channel speaker/s are behind the screen. They are fully moded Polk RTA-15TL's in custom cabinets.
The 2 HSU MK15HP'S are in the rear of the room.
