I am 2 hours NW of you. About 30 minutes West of Gainesville. Spent a lot of time in Orlando though when we lived in Tampa. I know a bunch of folks down there though. Mostly car people.

@biliam1982 All the sexual tension.

@jtwrace You have one heck of a system there. William and I attended the Florida Audio Expo and I think we are both hooked on 2ch now. Have experienced some very nice systems there. The next one is in January. I had to bail on Axpona, but that is a goal of mine. Looking forward to meeting you. Where are you at in Orlando?

@m0j0 Where are you at in Orlando?

I don't get a ton of free time to log on here, but am glad to see some new folks.

I am in East Orlando, about 20 minutes east of the UCF area.

Unfortunately all the car audio folks I was around just aren't any more. These are friends from car related groups I was a part of in the past that have moved on to real cars. They just had a charity track event at Daytona. Had to miss it this year. High horsepower foreign and domestic. Some track only. A friend of mine went from a G35 to a GTR and has been hooked ever since. I tag along with him and have met a bunch of great people. I have had the opportunity to drive a lot of cool cars I wouldn't have otherwise.

Small world man. We missed Daytona this year. Hoping to get back into it next year. We did NOLA in Jill's Mini a couple years ago too. They had a car show and drift exhibition the weekend we went. Phenomenal show.

Are you in Jax Z Club? Or do you mean Flatout Motorsports?

I was in Jax Z club, still am an honorary member as I have many friends in that group. Moved on car wise to BMW. Adrian and I are oddly members of several of the same facebook car groups.

Hello everyone, I am relatively new to the area - I am just moving into Savannah, GA. I have spoken a few times with The Chad and I am happy that we have a community like this that is close enough for me to participate in. I am really looking forward to doing some DIY projects in the very near future and hope that I can meet at least a few of you.

Talk with you all soon!!!

Haha! Nope. It's too late for me. lol

I was literally just thinking about what I wanted to try and do with my HT and what the resident cabinet maker in this group could possibly do with some 1099's and custom boxes...

I was also wondering if you all would be able to help guide me into my build since it is going to be in a bonus room above the garage of a "rental house" (So I can't completely gut the the room... haha) Add that to the fact that it has a slightly challenging shape, but it is 16' deep and 13' ft wide so I am sure there is much potential there. I have attached a bad picture here:

Anyway, I am really looking forward to meeting you all sometime soon!

Your room looks perfect for a theater. That will make the fourth in this group, all nearly the exact same size. Plenty of options for a non permanent theater. Keep us up to date on the room. If you ever get stuck, or aren't sure about something, there's probably someone in the group that can help out. Also, feel free to PM me about those 99 cabinets you're looking for. Maybe I can help.
