I have a WD-65734 that has started to show the widely-known white dot problem caused by the DMD chip going bad. Based on all of the posts I've read about this problem here on the forum, I called Mitsubishi customer service expecting to hear that they would replace the chip and I would have to cover the labor.
Instead, the customer service rep said they wouldn't do anything. When I told her what I had read on here, she got snippy with me and said "no, we aren't covering that anymore." She added "We go by what we say, not what you read on the internet."
I am so done with Mitsubishi products.
