The other day I ended up using the "Sky Blue" button inside the Hitachi 57swx20b.

I had to because I had forgot to initialize the data sensors before turning off the TV after a manual convergence in service menu. After doing this however, it didn't seem to "break" anything... it allowed me to then initialize the data sensors...

Did I screw something up that I am not aware of? The convergence on the service level convergence still looks right. (and the geometry).

No...

It's fine. I did that many times myself before I learned PIP MODE PIP CHANNEL as the ending before exit...

If you HOLD THE BUTTON DOWN AS YOU TURN THE POWER ON then your all done....

If the set is already on when you hit it, it does nothing other than get you back into the DCAM mode.

The sky blue button is not a big deal...

Is is called the service only button...and is used by service techs all the time
