Samsung HLT Line/Banding Issue

I recently replaced my lamp on my HL-T5676S DLP TV after 13k hours. We ran it pretty lean on brightness but over the last several weeks it has really dropped off.

The new lamp was really bright and after doing the basic recalibration (using S&M disc) it's bright but not overly dynamic like it was.

Now I am running into a problem that appeared after installing the lamp in that we are getting banding or lines in various colors on the display. It's not that the color values are truncated or off, just that these mysterious lines appear at certain frequencies. You can see this in the attached image on both the vertical and horizontal color panels. You can especially see it in the red panels by zooming into the image.

Can someone advise what these might be caused by? Perhaps a bad or misaligned color wheel or a bad DMD board? I don't mind replacing a board for a few hundred dollars if I can squeeze another year out of the set. Waiting for the new ATSC 3.0 standard to appear before jumping onto 4k since we still use a lot of OTA broadcast.

The TV is now at the recycling center. May it have a good afterlife.
