Sony DAS/WinDAS to correct CRT color (Dell P991)

My Dell P991 CRT monitor seems to be off in its red primary. The monitor's red is under-saturated and leads to a 91% coverage of sRGB.

I've heard about this tool called Sony DAS or WinDAS that could be used to fix and adjust Trinitron monitors. Would it be possible to use WinDAS to increase the saturation of the red primary?

CRT guns degrade over time.
The output of each gun is determined by the amount of drive voltage.
These levels are adjustable on all crt monitors if so you can't get enough red via the adjustment, either the red drive circuit is bad or more likely the red gun on the crt is bad.
