Dead sanyo z4, no warranty.
I am on a shoestring budget and I am trying to figure out if the this 720p Acer H5360 for $500 will work as a stop gap until I can afford a 1080p model next year.
Throw distance was about 12 feet, but all these cheap projectors seem to require at least 14 feet to make 120. So moving the mount back to just over 14 feet is not a problem.
My issue is the height placement of the screen, the useable area of the screen (after the border) is 7 inches from the ceiling. Due to furniture placement and how the room is setup I can't really move it, its perfect.
So can someone help me decipher this crappy pdf from Acer:
The way I'm reading that, for 120 inch diagonal, it needs to be 168cm from the "top" which when ceiling mounted is actually the bottom of the image.
So about 66 inches from the bottom. The screen is 58 inches tall and only 7 from the ceiling. Do I have any options to still make it work?
