It was shipped out this morning. Got a tracking number already.
See, the thing was, and it might have been a cookie, but I don't think so, but the thing was, I placed the order after their cutoff time, which is 11am (PT) or 1pm (ET). I made my order at 12:47 (PT) and the price was still $2299. Feeling good about this, I went to AVSForum to do some research, found the thread that VA dropped it by $50.. and was like, "huh?" And went back to the site, refreshed, added it to my cart, and it was still $2299. I did this from my work computer, and did it again when I got home from my home PC.
IDK, it's still a great price & free shipping, but I don't like the practice. If I hadn't been charged yet, and it shipped out the next business day (today), then the price should have reflected the current price. I mean, I didn't even get the invoice until this morning at 9:12am (PT). I guess I'll be giving them a call.

Ok, I gave them a call and they made a price adjustment. Apparently I wasn't the only one affected by the sudden price drop - and I will be receiving a refund of the difference. I'm sure glad I decided to stop by AVSForums, and I'm glad you guys made a post, otherwise, I wouldn't have gotten the adjustment - because I had to ASK for it. /smh The cust. srvs. rep mentioned that it should have been caught automatically, but since I checked out with PayPal... still, I wouldn't have gotten the adjustment had I not seen this thread, so thanks guys! I can use this $50 for more glasses if needed.
